'Lovely stay at the hotel, the staff were very helpful and attentive. Rooms were a good size and had been fitted with AC which was very necessary. You could book out the paddle boards, kayaks and bikes for an hour for free. The hotel does get a bit busy during the day as people come for day trips but they leave at 2:30 and then it gets pretty quiet again. I think the pool and beach area could be a little better taken care of but overall it was a great stay.'
'There is a refrigerator in the room, but you will need to purchase items to have inside. You can walk on path through the woods to small stores for drinks and snacks. Boat arrives before checkin time, and after checkout time. Be prepared for that. Breakfast starts at 7:00. Staff is very friendly and helpful.'
'I stayed at Bora Bora Beach Club Hotel for two nights and I absolutely loved it. It’s a very upscale resort with beautiful decor, delicious food, great music, and a breathtaking beach. The staff were exceptional, with great personalities and wonderful energy. I especially want to mention Ivana, who was the warmest and most exceptional person I met during my stay. She has an amazing personality and really made the experience special.'
'Een prachtige plek. Maar het is back to basic. In de avond niks te doen, geen barretje om aan te zitten. Strandbars alleen open op tijden van de dagjes mensen(10-15 uur), geen snacks verkrijgbaar. Menu kaart erg beperkt. Wij hadden de pech dat we last van onze darmen hadden. Helaas als lunch enkel warm eten. Geen sandwich of zo. Ontbijt 2 keuzes: Continentel, brood zonder beleg met fruit, juice. American, brood, ei, fruit, juice.'
'This hotel needs to do better. The AC in my room wasn’t working properly and the restaurant did not have at least 50% of the items of the menu. We left one day before, because we needed to fully enjoy our time of vacation. Perhaps, not only for this hotel, but for all the hotels in las Islas del Rosario, the transportation is a scary ride, way too many people in the boats.'
'We were honored to be the first guests after Isla Azul’s reopening under new management. The hotel manager Pedro is exceptionally friendly and customer-focused. He and his team were a highlight of our stay. He coordinated awe-inspiring snorkeling and phytoplankton tours with an experienced local guide. 'After booking, we repeatedly messaged the hotel for directions and only got a reply at 7:55am on check-in day, telling us the only boat left Cartagena at 8:15am. No way to make it. They then sent a contact for a 9am boat costing 90k + 30k port tax, though cheaper 70k options exist. Given boats run only until 9am and transport can cost as much as two nights’ stay, this should be clearly stated before booking – we could easily have missed the first night.
