'We really enjoyed our stay at The Hayloft. I thought that it might be too small for a four-night stay (2 adults and a dog) but it wasn't at all- it actually felt quite spacious and the bathroom was huge. The little dressing area was a nice addition and the kitchen area had everything we needed. The garden area was the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening and had an abundance of beautiful flowers. Debra really has a designer's flair and added lots of lovely touches throughout....

'a good stay. Perhaps some of the property could do with a more thorough clean as I ended up cleaning the whole cutlery drawer. Somewhere to hang washing would be beneficial as not every clothing item is suited for the washer dryer. Bathroom nice, but as others have commented, some amenities would be welcomed'

'Fantastic! ...sums it up really. We booked late, but the property manager/landlord quickly got in touch and helped us through the process. Professional yet friendly. The apartment itself was nice and clean, with a lovely huge bath and decent shower. The kitchen was well equiped and open plan with dining area and lounge. The lounge has a computer desk by the window for work, but also a huge comfortable sofa. Sky Glass is a great addition - a nice massive 4K TV with all streaming apps...

'Disgusting!!! Avoid at all cost. Upon arrival the caravan stunk There was mould in the fridge with leftover food which had also gone mouldy Wee in the toilet No gas/water/electric upon arrival we had to wait for the owner to.tell us how to plumb this... after 2.5 hours of waiting. The oven had no shelves for us to cook and only 1 hob worked. We decided to leave within 3 hours of being there once we found alternative arrangement. The owner refused to refund our 3 night stay aswell deeming it...

'I booked this for our family for a surprise for my husbands 60th. We had a long weekend and it was close by for us but what an amazing place. Thoroughly enjoyed by all we had a great time and would certainly go back - also had a private chef for one day which finished the weekend off'

'This property was basic but perfectly comfortable and in a stunning location! The lane to the property was very over geown and unfortunately my husbands car (which has low clearance) was unable to get down it. But the owner soon dorted an alternative for us. The neighbours ford focus had bo problems so i would say this wont be a problem for most! Access down to views over the estuary and walks from the house was great. No wifi but perfectly good signal for 4g - or a good excuse to go off grid....

'We have just returned from an absolutely fabulous stay at Harkstead Hall. The house is beautiful. Spacious and has absolutely everything you need for a fun stay with friends.
