'The surroundings are really beautiful, so close to the beach. The gardens are beautiful too. The rooms and the corridors are a bit 'dated'. The bathroom could use an update for example. And I would put some paintings or pictures on the walls of the rooms to make it a bit nicer. The food is fantastic! 'We loved our stay at Penelope Villas, the villa was very well kept, spacious, modern, well equipped and in a great location. With just 4 villas it was quiet, but literally a 5 minute drive from Sami main promenade with a great selection of restaurants and shops. The only issue was the air con wasn’t working properly but the owners were very quick to get it fixed. 'Het hotel is schoon. Het is een hotel gebouwd in 1981. De badkamer is klein, maar dan ook echt klein. De douche te klein om goed te kunnen douchen. Maar verder geen opmerkingen daarover. Het ontbijt genoeg keuze, alleen de koffie is ronduit slecht, oploskoffie. Dat verwacht je niet in een hotel met zo een kamerprijs! '

'Dusty room, we kept the window open the whole day to bring in some fresh air. The lobby and breakfast area are nice although small but in the room itself it looked like time had stood still for 30 years. The only thing that changed was the shower head which no longer fitted in the stand so you had to hold it while the moldy shower curtain stuck to your behind.'
