WARNING:DO NOT BOOK A STAY AT THIS LISTING UNLESS YOU ARE OK WITH A HOUSE THAT REEKS OF CIGARETTE SMOKE! We walked & were immediately greeted by the overwhelming stench of cigarette smoke. With my wife's allergies, we could not stay & had to book a hotel room elsewhere, that cost us a lot more money & was further from Lucas Oil Stadium, where we were attending the Final Four, which was a surprise for my wife for her birthday. The host was very uncooperative & would not refund us any of our money back. He stated the listing said smoking was allowed at the property. When it actually said smoking allowed in designated areas. He said the cigarette smell was residual from smokers smoking in these areas. When in all truth there were people smoking cigarettes in the house itself. He said he would refund us whatever nights he could rebook if we cancelled. The problem was VRBO said canceling was unavailable since the booking already started. I contacted VRBO & explained all of this to them, and they were no help either! The house also doesn't look anything like the pictures. The location also felt very unsafe. The road out front was very noisy, & you could hear everything outside. We determined all of this & the overwhelming cigarette smell in the 15 mins we were there trying out where we were going to stay the next 4 days in Indy. We left the place exactly as we had found it. Which meant no need to clean or change sheets, etc. STILL NO REFUND! WOW!
