Amazing beach house

We had an amazing weekend at this lovely property. Directly on the beach but for those of us who are not beach lovers…it also has a great tiki hut to sit and enjoy the ocean without the sand! Wish we could have stayed longer!

Perfect beach house stay!

We had an amazing stay at this property! We had multiple families between the two houses and had plenty of space/were very comfortable. The pink house is just gorgeous with amazing views, everything was beautifully decorated. The blue house is smaller and more dated, but very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We would 100% rent this property again, we absolutely loved it! We practically had the beach to ourselves each day and being able to walk out your back door onto the beach was just perfect. Also loved the tiki hut! Steve was an amazing host and very responsive. It is clear he takes great care in maintaining this property.

Awesome place!!

We had a large group and we loved having the 2 houses. The place was pretty clean for the most part, with the exception of a few minor things. Great location and the beach was very nice, too. Loved the privacy. Saw sea turtles down on the beach late at night and the tiki-hut was the selling point for our menfolk!! Would stay here again!!

The Salty Dog and Castaway Colttage were combined worked great for our family! Beach was wonderful! The houses are located close to everything! Disney's Hollywood Studios was just 1 hr 20 minutes away. Stever, our host, responded quickly to any texts. Wonderful! Thank you for this experience!

Lovely Stay At Ocean Shores

Stayed at Ocean Shores with a large group of friends for a yearly get together. Steve was super communicative and the property was as described in the listing. We really enjoyed the short walk to the beach and would absolutely stay again!

Special Time Together

The property had all that we could hope for and plus the Nespresso machine in the master bedroom was such a great touch that I purchased one of our own when we got back home. This was truly a special time to be with our family and will never be forgotten. We renewed our wedding vows in front of our very small party of 20 friends and family. Our good friends own a restaurant just down the road on A1A so we were able to move the festivities there to enjoy our time together even more. Being able to do all of this together while on the beach is exactly what we wanted. Thank you for the opportunity to make this happen.

Calm and clean!

We had such a great time at the Salty Dog property! The location was amazing, the proximity of the property to the water can’t be beat... the photos don’t do it justice! Even though we didn’t have a lot of great weather for the beach we enjoyed collecting shells, sitting out in the tiki bar, and listening to the waves crashing at night. The house was fully stocked- more than any other rental we’ve stayed at before, which made us feel right at home. It was exceptionally clean which was greatly appreciated (especially in today’s climate). We made wonderful memories at this property and hope to come back another time soon.

Beautiful location right on a private beach!

This was a very nicely remodeled house right on the beach. We enjoyed the privacy of the beach despite being very close to a public beach and beaches with a lot of condos and hotels. We loved spending time in the Tiki Hut, enjoying happy hour in the shade with the ocean breeze. The house was well equipped in the kitchen and the beds were very comfortable. The property manager was very responsive to emails and by phone when we had a problem with the lockbox code and they sent someone immediately to fix the garbage disposal. We were puzzled by the number of people the house and cottage were listed to accommodate. We were very comfortable renting both the Salty Dog and Castaway Cottage, but we only had 5 people plus our dog. I suppose families with young children or maybe college kids might not mind having that many people in the two cottages. Overall, highly recommend and a good value for the location.

Would definitely come back!

We rented both houses. The pink house is very updated and had everything we wanted:. Great house, great view, great yard, and tiki hut right on the beach! The blue house was not as updated, but worked well to for extra bedrooms. We had a very comfortable stay and the owner was easily reachable for any questions or concerns. We loved our time there and would recommend this listing.

All i can say is who knew you could carry in so much sand! We visited with Corona viruses and with everything closed allowed us early check in! Very comfortable and accommodating for 13. Plenty of kitchen supplies including spices...bathroom necessities and ocean side toys! We left things inside and out we couldn't bring back with permission!!! Ps beds are comfy!!@

Best Christmas ever

Our family of 18 had a wonderful week at the Salty Dog and Castaway. Indoor space was bigger than I thought by pictures. Outdoor space provided plenty of room for us to spread out and play or bunch up and enjoy each other’s company. The decor was 1st rate as well as all the necessities of preparing meals and celebrating for an entire week. What a great location, great owner (always very responsive) - great experience for all. Highly recommend.

Great Team Location

Our softball team shared this property and it was such a great team bonding trip! Having direct beach access was the absolute best (we boogie boarded every morning) and the house is fully stocked with fun beach equipment. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone with a large group that might be looking in the area. 10 out of 10!

This home was perfect for our softball team, lot's of room to spread out, and HUGE washer and dryer. Summer was great!!
