'Beautiful property close to airport. If it wasn’t for the occasional plane you would think you were in the middle of the country side. The dinner was delicious with a complimentary tamale to start and the mushroom pasta was to die for. The room was beautiful with a wood fireplace, heated duvet, large bathroom and amazing shower. 'The hotel is uphill with beautiful views of the mountains. The sunset was incredible. Be aware the road is unsealed the last kilometre and you need to WhatsApp message the hotel in advance of arrive for them to open the entry gate. Staff were very friendly and accomodating even though our Spanish is terrible. This is a boutique hotel with only 5 rooms and we had the place to ourselves. 'The property feels safer than any I’ve been it. The interior design is upbeat and unlike your average hotel. Great bedding, great tree top view allowed us to be entertained by mourning doves and hummingbirds. The breakfast was average for this area: eggs, fruit, fruit juice with or without sugar. In house roasted coffee. The manager and staff were efficient and friendly. We particularly liked Fernanda, the woman who served us breakfast on day one off three.'
