'This is a great hotel. Love the decor. The staff were exceptional. It's in a great location. It was very clean and well maintained. The breakfast was very good, a nice variety. The room was extremely clean and again the decor was the best. Great size bathroom with hot water, very good water pressure. The bed was very comfortable. Only negative maybe get more comfortable pillows. Amazing views from the roof. But overall this is a great place today. I would definitely stay there again. '

'Hotel Hicasua is geweldig. Het ligt tegen de rand van stad Barichara waar niets ver weg is. Comfortabele kamers met interieur die erg past bij de stad Barichara. Hotel heeft een erg attente staf en ontbijt is praktisch geregeld; bestel wat je wilt hebben in plaats van buffet. Dus lekker vers en heerlijk naar wens. Restaurant in hotel is erg goed, verder heerlijk zwembad, jacuzzi en dergelijke. Heerlijk verblijf voor volwassenen en kinderen gedurende verblijf in Barichara.'

'Went for one night /stayed for two it was so nice. Very quiet beautiful hotel on side of mountain. Quiet, relaxing with wonderful small staff and very friendly owner who makes you feel welcome and will help and guide you with a smile (excellent English btw). Very nice upscale hotel. A highlight of my 2 weeks in Columbia. '

'We got quite surprised with this hotel. First time booking this property and after reading the previous reviews we were in doubt, however our stay was great staff very friendly, rooms very cleaned and comfortable. We ordered room service food and it was great as well. I tried the róbalo endiablado and my wife a chicken salad. They also had a great Chilean wine and prices were very reasonable. We don’t usually write reviews but we feel the previous reviews were unreasonable. We will stay here...
