'The owner was nice and responsive. The stay wasn’t bad for a short weekend, the room did have a really bad smell, the bed was really uncomfortable and had a smell to it as well. Shower didn’t stay warm for longer than a few minutes.'

'The room was clean and comfortable enough, particularly the bed, and a great shower. The staff were great. But, access up two flights of narrow stairs was not the best for us. In fairness, staff did offer to carry our luggage up. I missed the part that said no lift. Also, it was advertised as ‘self parking included’. There wasn’t. We had to find a park on the street. No complaints, merely observations.'

'The room itself was clean, nicely furnished, and the beds were very comfortable. My only thing is that both the sink and the shower drain were incredibly slow. Also, nowhere to store your bags if you have a later train than their strict 11am checkout time. '

'The hotel site was absolutely beautiful, clean up to date and the staff even maintains the smell of a nice wood fire around the property and inside to give that homey feel! And as a really cool bonus they have Tons or Vintage Board games to play with the family and close enough to walk to a trail ot take a short drive.'

'I enjoyed the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. All my questions were answered very pleasantly. The beds were comfortable and it was a quiet place to stay. It was easy to get to and very convienent being in the middle of Great Barrington. The breakfast was nice also. I would stay there again.'

'Immaculately clean, comfortable bed; the two most important things. We've stayed at more charming places in Great Barrington, but our usual B&B required two nights and we only wanted one. Nothing fancy, no frills, but ultimately quite satisfactory. We would stay here again. P.S. we found some charm and a nice breakfast at the Holli Cafe.'

'The cabin was not clean....dead bug in the ledges. Also, the carpets are not a good idea in the woods. Moldy smell.'

'This hotel looks like you stepped into 1980. The front door had a gap that let in light and cold air. The wallpaper was peeling. There were scuff marks on the walls and door. The bathroom fixture was open and you could see exposed wiring. Some outlet plates were also open. The one lamp had non working electrical outlets. The room smelled musty. The beds were comfortable and the shower had reasonable pressure.'

'Took a trip for a night with a couple of friends and we all really loved our stay! Comfortable bed, great amenities, the place was clean. Great kitchen supplies for cooking food over the fire. Would 10/10 return!'
