The Mermaid Inn Beach Cottage, Seabrook, NASA, Kemah, pet friendly!

Make some memories at this unique, family-friendly place. Enjoy a quaint cottage by the sea with breathtaking sunrise & beautiful sunsets. Access to small private beach. Sylvan beach in LaPorte is close by. There’s a wildlife preserve beside the neighborhood & a walking trail that runs along Todville Rd & Pine Gully. Conveniently located near the Kemah Boardwalk, NASA, 30 min to Galveston & 30 min to downtown Houston.
The space
This house was built in the 1950s. It has the original hardwood floors except in kitchen and bath which have recently been renovated.
Granite countertops thoughout.
Smart devices on all TVs to stream movies. Hulu and Disney+ are ready for your use.
This house doesn’t have cable tv.
Guest access
There’s plenty of parking in the driveway and overflow parking on the concrete slab to the left of the house.

Do not park on the first and second streets from the beach. They ticket for this.

Golf carts can be rented and delivered from several local golf cart places and can be driven through the neighborhood and down to the beach, but not on the beach. You can park in the grassy areas.
Other things to note
The deer are very friendly here as they are accustom to people. They generally do not let you pet them. Remind children these are wild animals, not a petting zoo.(remind adults too)
