Pool Heating & Usage Information (Please Read Carefully)

Given the pool’s size (15,000 gallons), heating requires 6–12 hours to reach a comfortable temperature and involves significant energy usage. For this reason, optional pool heating is available for an additional fee.

Pool Heating Details
• Pool heating is available for $65 per night (plus applicable fees & taxes, paid pre-trip) and maintains the pool at a comfortable 82–85°F.
• A 2-night minimum applies

The hot tub is integrated with the pool heating system.
• Without pool heating:
Complimentary hot tub heating is available upon request, for up to 2 hours per day, heated to 100–102°F.

• Extended hot tub heating:
If you plan to use the hot tub more than 2 hours per day without adding pool heating, an additional $30 per night applies (plus applicable fees & taxes, paid pre-trip).

Important notes:
• Pool heating must be requested at least 12 hours prior to arrival.
• We recommend checking the local weather forecast before deciding to add pool heating.
• When outdoor temperatures drop below 55°F, pool heating is not offered, as the pool may still feel too cool for most guests even with heating enabled.
• For system protection and reliable performance, we manage the heating system remotely and are happy to set it up based on your request.

Pool & Hot Tub Operation
• The pool and hot tub are controlled remotely, so there’s no need to adjust any equipment manually.
• Please do not touch or adjust the pool system in the backyard, as this may disrupt normal operation or scheduled settings.
• The host can adjust the system and schedule settings upon your request. Simply send us a message, and we’ll take care of it for you.

Pool Maintenance & Water Conditions
• The pool is professionally cleaned and serviced WEEKLY @Wednesday by a trusted local company (Full Splash Pool Service)
• The water is chemically treated, clean, and safe to use

You may notice discoloration in certain corners of the pool. These are cosmetic surface variations related to the plaster finish and do not affect water cleanliness or safety.

Weather-Related Conditions (Out of Our Control)
• Pool use is not permitted during storms for safety reasons
• Heavy rain may temporarily cause the pool water to appear cloudy or green, even shortly after a professional cleaning
• This is a common and unavoidable condition following severe weather

When conditions are safe and scheduling allows, we will coordinate with our pool service for additional post-storm maintenance, but immediate service cannot always be guaranteed.

Gas Range & Oven
Lovett is equipped with a gas range for your use. For your safety:
✔ Always make sure burners and the oven are completely turned off after cooking.
✔ Never leave the stove or oven unattended while in use.
✔ If you ever smell gas and no burners are on, do not use any appliances or light switches. Leave the home immediately and contact us right away.
* Gas/CO Monitors
There are a couple of gas/CO monitors installed throughout Lovett. For safety, please do not unplug or move them.

We recently converted the HVAC system to one central control. The thermostat (Nest control) is on the wall beside the sleeper sofa in the second floor entertainment room loft.

Due to the home’s architectural design, it can be a bit tricky to maintain the perfect temperature on both floors at the same time. When the AC is on, cool air tends to flow downstairs. When the heater is running, warm air naturally rises to the upper floor.

To help direct more air upstairs, please ensure all upstairs AC vents are fully open.

There are also a couple of portable fans in the closets or garage if you’d like additional air circulation.

• The pool area is not fenced, and this property may not be suitable for young children.
• Children must be supervised at all times when outdoors.

For your safety, we kindly recommend turning off the string lights while using the pool and hot tub. If you prefer to keep them on, please note that we’re unable to assume responsibility for any issues that may arise.
