'This home was very well equipped - gas stove, pots and pans, fridge and freezer, electric kettle, hot water heater. Some kinks to work out such as guard dogs out at night so we couldn’t venture out of the house after a certain time and locked gate so we couldn’t leave unless we called the housekeeper. Housekeeper was available by phone/WhatsApp very consistently so there were no problems. We thoroughly enjoyed a family get away with easy day trips into entebbe to swim and do an airport drop off....

'This hotel has a very nice view over the lake. The background sound are birds singing and not the traffic. Very good service and friendly staff. With the big garden Ihink this is a family friendly place. Not very central but with a car or boda boda it does not take much time to get to the city center.'

'We loved the Papyrus Guest House. The staff was super friendly and the dinner we had was excellent. There is a nice bar area to hang out at. The rooms were clean and safe but there was no air conditioning so it got a little warm for us. We felt safe while we were at the property. We did not seek to go out off the property for anything so we can't comment on that. Great value for the money. '

'Excellent hotel and staff! The room had a sticky desk, fingerprints and a few crumbs on small chair table, and the shower floor is peeling. Toilet must be leaning a bit because one side is higher. Upon arrival, balcony door was slightly open and unlocked and the air conditioning was off so it was like a sauna in the room. Once that was fixed, all was fine! Shuttle was good and fast.
