'The Robertson Hotel is a sanctuary where the raveled sleeve can be knitted up again :) Beautiful surrounds, friendly, attentive staff, lovely breakfast. My only worry is that its gentle, historical charm will be lost in future development. Sydney needs this kind of retreat from its mass tourism culture.'

'The house and decor were charming and heritage-style. The gardens are stunning. The host was welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and had its own exterior door to the gardens. The breakfast included with our booking was nice, served in a communal dining room. There is a shared lounge room with reading material, TV's, coffee and tea, and homemade treats.
