Rio dos Elefantes River Camp is magnificently proportioned on the Olifants and the Blyderivier. The camp is situated on the northern bank of the Olifants river in the Balule Nature Reserve and bordering the Kruger National Park. The camp on a rise above the river lies surrounded by sprawling lawns and dwarfed by huge indigenous trees. The river which shelters a great many aquatic creatures such as hippo and crocodiles is also a haven for the many antelope species, elephant and the inevitable carnivores found in these parts.
