'This was an amazing location, staying amongst the limestone karsts. The pool looked very inviting but we didn't get a chance to use it as there is so much to explore around the area. The host families hospitality was incredible. We played billiards with the kids and their mum gave us a big hug as we left. She is very accommodating and although her English was limited made a great effort with Google translate to communicate well with us. She was very helpful with advice on where to visit. ...

'We (family of four (2 + 2 adult children)) stayed for 2 nights in June. Location: hotel is located away from the main tourist area and so nowhere is walkable. The hotel does have bicycles free to use which we took to cycle through some rice fields to a local village (few km round trip and flat). Rooms: large and clean. Bathrooms the same. 'The hosts were extremely friendly and their granddaughter ( Camelia) was a great help in communicating in English. We experienced a typhoon while there which destroyed a lot of local fruit trees and left us without power for a few hours on the second night. All together a decent stay and on a side note transportation will be required if you need to eat out. '

'I stayed with Dzung and his family for 4 night and I loved it. I felt so very welcome, breakfast was amazing, free use of a bike to go exploring by myself. A nice pool to take a plunge in after getting back from a day outside visiting the sights. I cannot recommend the beautiful place and people enough. Also, I really liked the location that was a bit away from the huzzle of Tam Coc area, while it still had good restaurants, and a good spa in the area. Thank you for a great vacation 🙂'

'We stayed for 2 nights, and although we have visited the temple complex last year, we thoroughly enjoyed staying here this time round. It was very peaceful and relaxing, and being able to walk the complex at night was eerily beautiful. Our room was a spacious,clean, and nice. The bed was big and comfy, and the bathroom was big too. 'Wow! What a beautiful homestay tucked away in a private corner of Ninh Binh. The views and hospitable staff were amazing - they truly went above and beyond to make our time at the lotus field wonderful. At night, there were loud karaoke parties nearby that echoed across the cliffs that we weren’t expecting, and most of the bikes were in tough condition, but all and all 10/10 would recommend a stay here! '
