With decks off the living room and master bedroom, guests staying in Ocean One 315 enjoy panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and its beautiful beaches. 3rd Floor oceanfront condo sleeps 6 people comfortably with a king bed in the master bedroom, two doubles in bedroom 2, and a living room sleeper sofa. Tastefully decorated and recently updated (kitchen and both bathrooms) in a Carribbean theme, this unit provides the comforts of home and the luxury of vacations in the sun. After swimming in the surf, enjoy outdoor showering areas and an awesome oceanfront pool. Ocean One has added a brand new grilling area to the complex just beyond the pool.
Ocean One is a five story complex (includes elevators) located in South Forest Beach. Among the amenities offered throughout Hilton Head Island, Ocean One is one block from the Coligny Beach Market, a quaint downtown area that offers guests a wide selection of restaurants, shopping venues, and entertainment for all ages. This up-to-date property is beautifully furnished. The contemporary kitchen has sparkling white appliances and cabinetry as well as granite countertops. Both bedrooms feature a wall mounted flat screen TV. This unit is top of the line, and the owner has thought of everything to make your stay perfect.

Many positives but a few negatives aldo

The overall stay was excellent but unfortunately some of the condo rules are restrictive. Pool shuts down at 9 deck at 11 and one of the male guards took enjoyment in kicking people out. He was very argumentative with multiple guests on several days. One guest was playing music and he told them it was to loud. You could not hear it from where I was standing. You can enforce rules but need to have a better approach and attitude. On a positive note the room was as advertised and location is perfect.

Great view, but needs upgrades!

This property has an incredible view, which is very nice. However, it doesn’t really make up for the poor mattress in the master and even the 2nd bedroom. We thought to move into the other bedroom, but they weren’t any better. Many utensils are rusted and most are mismatched like what you would give your college student when they leave to live on their own . The space is in dire need of a coat of paint. All of the furnishings are in desperate need of an upgrade. The zero attention to detail is so sad for what could be an excellent space. We won’t stay here again.

The location was perfect (we love South Forest Beach). The view from the patio was incredible (so relaxing!). The size worked great for our family of four. It was clean. Only downside - the kitchen was sparsely stocked (cookware/utensils/appliances); I had to purchase cookie sheets and mits to use during our stay.

this condo has so much to love. perfectly located on the third floor close to the elevator and with an unobstructed view of the beach. the grounds of this complex are amazing and there is a carpeted walkway to the beach. there are many tables and chairs around the pool with a restroom nearby. now for the negative. although beautifully decorated, the furniture in the condo is totally worn out. sagging chair seats even at the dining table. no comfortable place to sit. with a little tlc this condo could be outstanding. we did enjoy our stay here though as everything else was ok.

Nice view

This condo has a great view. The furniture is nice....a West Indies kind of decoration. The kitchen is woefully underequipped. There was only one sharp knife in the kitchen as an example. I could go on and on. We were there on the weekend and there were bands playing a couple of doors up from us. They played loudly and badly from noon to 11 PM all 3 days. You could even hear them on the beach. This is not the owner's fault but I can't believe the neighborhood is not up in arms over the racket.

A great location, but a unit that could use some TLC

Our family recently stayed in Ocean One. The most disappointing aspect of our trip was upon arrival the place being very poorly cleaned. Crumbs were all over the counter, the floors were dirty, and the bathroom had toothpaste stains. We spent the first hour of our stay vacuuming and whipping down the surfaces. The place itself was OK, but it is a bit dated and worn. The beds sunk inward, the faucets had a lot of calcium build up, and the vents were in dire need of cleaning. On the positive side, the location of Ocean One is great and the unit size is great for a 2 bedroom. Overall, we'd stay in the complex again but likely not this specific unit.

Old and outdated

Unit 315 at Ocean one was extremely disappointing. Nothing was updated. Pots and pans were old rusty and corroded. The coffee pot was old and they didn’t supply any filters. The toaster was cheap and we had re- toast our bread at least 3 times. The dishwasher was broken. The tv in bedroom didn’t work. It only got one channel. All the faucets were old and corroded. There was dust, sand and hair in the bathroom drawers. The whole place needs painted and updated. Bathrooms were small and ugly. No way worth the money we paid.
