Private Pool, Peaceful Location, Walk to Beach Home!

An original but updated 1950's Hilton Head home that features a Master bedroom with a King size bed and adjoining bath. The other 3 bedrooms consists of 1 King and 2 Queens, in addition to a Queen futon and Queen pullout sofa in the living area, allowing plenty sleeping for 12. Upon entry, is a living room with a flat screen HDTV, including WIFI, HD cable, and smart TV for rainy days. The updated kitchen includes a microwave, range, refrigerator, dishwasher, blender, toaster, and coffeemaker to enhance your stay. The dining table seats six with an additional two seats at the kitchen island.

Mimosa is a secluded home away from any large crowds that typical resorts may bring. Rest assured, this home is deep cleaned after every visit! This is a private home with a large driveway for parking, a private pool (heating of pool can be requested for an additional $400/per stay up to 7 days during the winter/fall months--the pool water stays warm during the spring/summer months at HHI), a fenced in backyard, and all the amenities including a washer and dryer! There is a barbecue grill in the back yard in case you want to grill some burgers, steaks, or locally caught seafood during your stay.

When you book your stay at Mimosa, Folly Field Beach Park is only a mere 500 yards away (a 7 minute walk per Google Maps). This beach access includes restrooms and showers. Adventure Cove Mini Golf/Arcade and many high rated restaurants are in short walking/driving distance to this home.

Why this property?
Mimosa has the best backyard in all of Hilton Head Island to maximize your relaxation time. The large pool has a tanning shelf for sunbathing or playing with 6" of water. Surrounding the pool you will find multiple lounge chairs. This yard is secluded with a privacy fence and an outdoor hot water shower. We supply beach chairs, toys, a beach wagon, coolers, and pool toys/floats...just bring your clothes and don't worry about wasting all of that space in your car!

The house was beautiful and felt like home the moment we walked in. It is maybe an 8 minute walk to the beach - the walkway on the sand is covered with a mat making is so easy to get to the ocean. 10/10 highly recommended this vacation home.

We stayed November 2025 and had an amazing time! We come to HHI every year and this has been one of our favorite places to stay! The hosts were amazing to speak to and responded instantly. The hoke was very clean and well maintained, as well as the pool heater working fantastically. They have all of the beach/pool necessities already there which was so nice to not have to lug to and from home.

This pool in the backyard was great. Gets cleaned twice a week in season. Pots pans dishes. Fully stocked kitchen and a grill outside near the pool. Close to the beach just a short shaded walking path! Everything about this rental was excellent. Would highly recommend!

We came down for our nephew’s graduation from the Marine corp boot camp. This house was about an hour away but was perfect for us. We wanted a pool and close to the beach. This house has both. The house was clean, well stocked and in a great neighborhood. The rooms are great size for all of us. The host was great. We didn’t need to talk with them but they did let us know early the morning we were checking in that we could check in early. Which was great. So over all everything was as shown on the site and would definitely stay again.

Great Family Gathering

We had adult children coming to Hilton Head from Ohio, Michigan and Oregon for the week. We have always loved H.H. and being able to all stay in one place was an amazing experience. Wonderful beach home, clean, lots of pool and beach gear, was able to walk to beach with dog and wagon. Location is less congested than Coligney but easy enough to get to all areas. Shelter Cove is 5 minutes away. Thoroughly enjoyed pool and backyard. Hosts were so accommodating.
