'A nice hidden spot near the railway station with fleeting views of the beach, friendly staff and access to the gym next door. It’s a reasonable walk to Turtle Bay, but the main restaurants/bars are approximately 15 min walk away. BUT, a Tuktuk is like £1 (GBP) so very reasonable. A great stay overall.'

'All great. Only thing is, no easy access to ocean because of rocky bottom. 5 min the left and right is sandy beachbottom and to the right close are some beach pools.'

'For us 33 Lake Terrace was the nicest hotel we stayed at during our time in Sri Lanka. The hotel is beautifully designed, the location at the lake is so peaceful and beautiful - simply amazing. On top of this Mr Panduka and the entire staff were exceptional, very discreet but always available and just very nice. The breakfast was very good but the dinner was just amazing, both the food and the atmosphere. While the location is a bit remote (15-20min walk into town) we enjoyed the uniqueness of...

'We had an amazing stay at hotel Dormero. The hotels right in front of the beach which made it very convenient for us to go around swimming and other beach activities which were nearby. The room itself was kept spotless with daily housekeeping. The staff were very nice and polite. We even had the opportunity to celebrate new years with the staff and eat amazing food. Thank you for a lovely stay. Would recommend. '

'Väldigt slitet hotell, trevlig personal och ren pool'

'Ingen i receptionen vid ankomst. Väntade 30min sedan hittade jag ett annat hotell. Trist poolområde. Inga solstolar framme'

'Friendly staff. Off road parking and great beach access to see turtles 🐢 '

'Sijainti järven rannalla, hyttysiä paljon, sijainti syrjäinen, vesi oli matalalla joten räme haisi.'

'Sehr freundliches Personal.
