'What a delightful stay! The yurt was cozy, well-equipped, and stargazing from the top bunk was magical. Craig and his family were communicative, friendly and made sure we were all set for our short stay. You can hear cows and ducks at night — charming to me, slightly less so to my light-sleeping husband. Still, we’d come back in a heartbeat and happily recommend the Scrappy Duck Farm. It's nearby Fenceline Cider in town and a short drive to Mesa Verde (we could even see the yurt using binoculars...

'Beautiful home that sits at the end of a well-maintained dirt road. If you're "city folk", you might find the drive up (consisting of some twists and turns) intimidating, but it's navigable in 2WD/FWD during non-winter times. I drove it a number of times in 2WD in a half-ton pickup and another drove it in a FWD car, no issues. Now onto the visit - we had a hiccup at the beginning, but the owner stayed on top of it and got the issue resolved. After that it was smooth sailing. The photos on...

'Overall it was very pleasant and quiet. Lots of deer, turkeys and one bear. The most well behaved cat also lives there under the porch. Hot tub and hammockwas very relaxing. Cobwebs on most light fixtures, mattresses in both upstairs and downstairs main bedrooms were worn out. A couple cooking pots were so old and worn out, they were not usable. Minor things, but very fixable. Artwork was beautiful!'
