'This boutique hotel is a perfect little getaway tucked away in a quaint part of KC, with many bars and shops within a very short distance. The accomodations are eclectic but very comfy, and the atmophere is very chill in the common area upstairs and in the lounge below. The bartenders were very friendly and I appreciated their knowledge, as I had bever been to this part of the country before. I would definitely stay here again'

'This Holiday Inn Express was very clean, the staff was helpful and friendly, and the breakfast had the consistency that you’d expect from a Holiday Inn Express! Parking is $25 a night, though, which felt slightly exorbitant and definitely racks up quickly. '

It was a pleasant surprise to see the entrance, great room, grand ball room & meeting rooms kept in their original state, yet the guestrooms have been tastefully updated with modern furnishings & accoutrements. The bed was comfortable, hot water was plentiful, big screen HDTV & HVAC system performed flawlessly.'

'Beautiful historic property. If you like historical hotels this is nice one. Staff was, without exception very good. I gave 4 stars because of the age and wear, which is to be expected, but might bother travelers who prefer newer properties. Great blackout curtains. The hotel bar was good.'
