'Do not book in advance. We live hours away and booked this stay weeks in advance just for the host to cancel it with no communication an hour before we got to Raleigh. After driving all day we were left with no idea where we were gonna sleep that night and only a few hours to figure it out before the concert we came to town to attend.'

'We enjoyed our stay and the relaxation of the lake view. The unit was more of a studio than a one bedroom but it was comfortable and clean. A real plus would be if the host wanted to provide paddle boards or a boat to go out on the lake. I tried to walk around the lake, but there really isn't a trail For most of it'

'everything was as shown. very clean and comfortable! wish it would have had a TV. however I was aware that it didn't prior to booking.'

'My family, all adults now, enjoyed how close entertainment and eating establishments were. Very quiet, clean neighborhood. Lots of very nice dog walkers for neighbors. The rooms were very comfortable. We enjoyed ourselves a lot.We were all there for a wedding and the VRBO was perfect. Great communication communications with the owners.'

'My family's experience renting this property this past weekend was very poor. While the apartment and amenities were good, the apartment was disgusting and dirty. The previous occupant had a pet, and there was hair everywhere. The floors had not been swept, the carpet had not been vacuumed, and the rugs in the bathroom had not...

'Great 1-bedroom stay for my solo work trip to Durham. Quiet neighborhood, and kitchenette.'

'This is a very clean, rather stark property with the basics. Not cozy or homelike, but it serves it's purpose. The owners were very responsive & nice when we needed more dishes or other kitchen basics. Street noise is an issue, busy main street near stop light, fire, police & ambulance sirens day & nite. Use the sound machine they provide, bring earplugs. Good for a college student.student'

'This place was the worst place I've ever stayed in. There wasn't any utensils nor dishes for the "kitchenette". Unbelievably, there was no cold water in the shower - usually, it's the hot water that is bad, but in this case the shower was blazing hot and that was the only temperature. There were cockroaches in the room. I killed at least 8 of them. The place needs an exterminator. The lacked basic accessories such as lights on the bed night stands and no rod, hangers nor shelves in the...
