This cabin was so neatly organized and well decorated! Bed was a bit firm for my taste but everything beyond that was amazing. Our van didn’t make it up the icy ski slope road, the owner called us to make sure we were ok. Highly recommend this Cabin. Thank you so much for the great service!

The set up is really good, very quiet and peaceful - if you’re looking to reset and recharge this is the base camp you’re looking for. The cabin is set up really well for a small group, we loved having a fire in the evenings (oops just realized I left the flue open ;) ), it’s big time cozy in there and we lucked out with arriving to fresh snow, this will be my default place to stay near Helena

Three family members, ranging in age from 20 to 53 to76, came west to meet our newest family member
one month old Daniel. This cabin met the needs of each of us. It was so clean and decorated Western without being “cheesey. And did I mention how clean it was? The front porch was a perfect place to sit and enjoy morning coffee, afternoon sun, and a glass of wine or a beer in the evening. Quiet and peaceful. The host family is close, but very unobtrusive. The bustling city of Helena was a short drive away but felt very far. Staying at the Amazing Classy cabin made our trip even more delightful. It truly is a Montana Treasure.

Like a home away from home. This is the perfect getaway. Its clean, private, quiet, and so close to so many places you may want to visit. The owners are so gracious and will help you with most anything they can. We felt safe and comfortable and we even saw many animals. Would definitely recommend and would come back again.

Charming historical cabin in a beautiful, peaceful setting. All the amenities that a home includes. A home away from home. The hosts were very warm and welcoming immediately. And to top it off, we saw a moose, deer and wild turkey! Great home base for our five day stay. What a great country that we live in from Ohio to Montana and back!

Wonderful stay! We enjoyed the deck, beautiful green scape and trees. The cabin was darling with rough hewn timbers and knotty pine walls. The rustic decor was so fitting for a “cabin in the woods”. Comfortable furniture and bedding. Board games as well as outdoor games were perfect for family fun. The kitchen was well appointed but small. Very nice to have a dishwasher. We are not accustomed to Kurig coffee making but figured it out. We had worried a bit about room temperature as we were there on a quite hot day. But it did cool off fine with windows open at night. One day we did use a fan in the afternoon. The hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. Our 8 year old boy who visited from Helena loved playing with the host’s boys and dog. The step down in the master bedroom was a bit precarious for us. It was lighted at night. The lighting in the bedroom and great room was on the dim side. All in all we loved it and will return. Helena downtown was lovely and fun. Live music on Saturday night and plenty of food, drinks and ice cream available.

Our family enjoyed everything about the cabin! Even though we only had a few days to be in Montana, it was the perfect backdrop for our trip. It felt like "home", even if it was for a short timeframe. Rick & Julie were wonderful to work with and took care of all the details for us. Thanks!

The cabin itself is quaint, comfortable, and so much fun to stay in. The property is beautiful, and sitting outside on the large deck listening to the nearby creek is very relaxing. But none of that compares to how wonderful the hosts are. They are friendly and were quick to accommodate our needs with no hesitancy! Definitely going to try to stay at this cabin again in the future if possible!

This historic cabin provided the prefect place to stay while we explored the Helena area. It had the rustic charm we love and all of the comforts and amenities we appreciate. It's beautifully decorated with local artwork and antiques. The front deck, overlooking the property, became our favorite place to hang out. The proximity to Helena was perfect. We felt like we were at a mountain retreat and yet it was just a short drive to downtown. Rick and his family were the perfect hosts. We hope to return soon!

The cabin is absolutely charming and in a peaceful setting. Rick and Jenn have a beautiful family and are attentive hosts. The cabin could use a mirror in each bedroom since the only other one is in the bathroom. Also, I think the step in the master should be mentioned in the listing description. Minor suggestions. Our party was coming from different locations around Montana and travel was coinciding with a snow storm and we were all unfamiliar with the area. Rick was very helpful in giving us information regarding local road conditions and tips on our route to help us avoid unfavorable road conditions. As well as being helpful our hosts were warm and welcoming and made us feel right at home. Although we are all lovers of historic properties sometimes they can be a bit on the cold side. The historic charm of the cabin was preserved and highlighted while still being updated with modern creature comforts. As we enjoyed sitting around fireplace we all kept saying "What a great cabin!" Although being a party of adults we were all very charmed with the upstairs child's play area and this would be a great place for a family stay. We would absolutely recommend this vacation home and we will be happy to book it again next time we are in the area! Hopefully we will be able to return in the warmer months so we can enjoy the beautiful outdoor spaces as well.
