Chimney Mountain Chalet - Spacious Pet Friendly Chalet for the Whole Family

Be on top of the world at Chimney Mountain Chalet. Travel down a gravel road to the paved driveway that takes you to this spacious home decorated with a cowboy theme. The yard is a child's paradise with lots of room to play. Chimney Mountain Chalet is a pet-friendly cabin and a one-time per pet fee will be added if you bring your dog(s). In the back is a fenced yard. The side yard features a wood-burning fire pit, a bench swing and chairs. The upper deck is equipped with outdoor furniture, a swing and even a dog house. The gas grill is located under the covered portion of the deck with a ceiling fan and light above! In front of the house is a screened porch with a table, benches and chairs.

Relax in the bubbling waters of the hot tub located on the back deck of your very own mountain top hideaway!

The large open kitchen is fully equipped including a side-by-side refrigerator, a gas oven and stove top with a grill. The are both a standard drip and a Keurig coffee maker, microwave and dishwasher, as well as all the cookware, dinnerware, utensils and flatware you will need.

The living room includes a long L-shaped leather couch, YouTube TV and WiFi. The gas fireplace is open to both the living room and the master bedroom. The master bedroom includes a beautiful king bed, the gas fireplace and dresser. The window and door lead out to the front screened porch. The master bath is absolutely a dream! With a fully tiled shower, oversized jetted garden tub, double vanity and loads of cabinet space. The second bedroom is a standard full size bed with a bath just a few steps away. This bath has a tub/shower combination. The third bedroom is a child's room with a small child's bed, chalkboard walls, and a closet full of games and toys!

This is a pet-friendly cabin and a one-time per-pet fee will be added if you bring your dog(s). The pet fees that will be added to your reservation are $75 + tax for the first and $50 + tax for each additional.

• Minimum Age Requirement: Chimney Mountain Chalet is available to families or to guests 25 years and older.
• Parking: Space is available for 3 vehicles. The garage is locked and not available to guests.
• Access: The road is paved up to the chalet. The black-top driveway is steep and curved.
• Pets: Chimney Mountain Chalet is pet-friendly and there is a fenced backyard.
• Location: 8 miles to downtown Helen.

Mountain Views for miles

Loved the cabin. As a few others mentioned, the driveway was steep, but it was not a problem. The view is worth it. We found the accommodations to be quite comfortable and well-supplied. We did find it odd that the grill and hot tub were located off a porch from the master bathroom. We also weren’t a fan of the floor in master shower. It was a bit uncomfortable to stand on. Those were the only things that were not great for us. We love the area and loved the cabin, The master bedroom mattress and pillows were super comfortable. Couch was extremely comfortable as well. Can’t speak on the other bedrooms as we didn’t use them. Our hosts were so easy to work with. Communication was outstanding.

Tucked away gem

Location is great if wanting to visit Helen or other nearby attractions and still want privacy. You're on the north side of Helen, so you can avoid the foot traffic for the most part. And if you want to run to Ingles for a grocery trip, you can avoid Helen all together and go around. The property manager was responsive, addressed my few concerns and was very friendly. There are a ton of light switches for everything, but they're labeled to help you out. The place looks very well maintained for a rental. I would definitely rent again if I ever return to the area.

This was a great place to stay nor to far from Helen or the others 2 towns we went to visit.

The house was a great get away and is far enough from other people. the driveway is up hill so in the weather you will need 4x4 or chains. The Master bedroom is Hugh with a very large bathroom as well. You do have to go through the master to get to the hot tub but we were ok with it. I went with friends and family the only thing it does need is closet space there isn’t any. The kids room is small and if an adult is staying in there make sure they are small enough for a day bed. The bedroom with the full-size bed is very comfortable and does have closet space in it it’s the only room with the closet that is usable. However, we did have a very nice stay and would return

The house was described well. Really, thought the children room was cute even with extra toys. Being said, there is only one small tv in the entire house. I know we should unplug but most people are used to a television especially children. The driveway seemed scary at 1st but once you go up and down twice you’re a pro. We had a great time at this property. We were able to use the amenities such as the hot tub, fire pit, laundry, fenced in back yard area. We didn't utilize the grill. Most were found in good working order. Our dog enjoyed the fenced back yard and roaming free since the neighbors were a good distance away. Great view of the mountains from the dining area! The master bath is huge and beautiful! There were a few inconveniences: There was no access to the closet in the master bedroom. No counter space to place toiletries in the guest bathroom. No access to the garage to park, but parking in the driveway was fine with easy access to the home. The sound on the TV sound was poor quality and it was hard to understand dialog. Fireplace was not functional or maybe we were doing something incorrectly. The stairs on the front of the house leading up to the screened porch (noted in the pictures) have been removed. There were scuff marks noted all over the wood floor. Overall, we were very happy with the property and would stay here again if in the area.

Perfect location!

We had a wonderful stay. The house is in a great location where we could easily get to all of the parks we were wanting to visit. Helen is very close so we spent several evenings checking out the restaurants and shops. For this trip, it was my husband, myself, our 1 year old, and our dog so the house was perfect. I can see how the layout of the house with access to the backyard might be a little awkward for a bigger group but it was perfect for us. Not having to bring our own dog crate and dog bowls was very convenient. Love the windows in the main room and we were lucky to see deer prancing through the front yard one afternoon. The house could use some updates and maintenance, which was expected for us, but we would stay there again.

Daughters 18th birthday getaway with family.

The Chimney Mountain Chalet was beautiful and relaxing. The cabin had everything we needed and more with comfort. Myself, hubby and two daughters ages 18 and 22 were very happy with the cabin. This is not a deal breaker at all but the narrow gravel road leading up to the house was definitely a bit concerning but once you drive very slow going up and down it’s fine. We definitely recommend staying here. Thank you so much.

This property is amazing! From the design of the home to the location, it was a perfect fit for us. Everything was clean and welcoming, the jacuzzi was warm and inviting. Pleanty of games and the kids love the chalk board wall. We look forward to renting this location again in the near future!

Everything was clean, all towels and amenities were provided as stated. We completely enjoyed our stay there. We had no complaints. The smart TV is a little dated and slow, but we weren't there to watch TV. I would say it was a great stay, and Georgia Mountain Rental was available to us whenever we had a question and was always pleasing to talk to.

Great place

It was nice & roomy. The hot tub was great. The bedrooms were spacious & I really like having curtains. It was close to Helen, just a few miles away. Also near Anna ruby falls. The night sky was awesome, you could see all the stars. We found everything we needed in the kitchen. We think you need to put instructions on how to work the TV and stereo. We just couldn’t figure it out, which was ok because we play lots of card games. We definitely would stay here again. Had a great time.
