'There are not enough superlatives to describe this hotel and its incredible grounds! The food was Excellent - better than the Michelin * restuarants I have been to recently in London and Venice. The grounds are spectacular - all 66 acres of them and its worth visiting just for this alone. The bedrooms are very nice and confortable. We had an Orangery suite which has Aircon. The Main house rooms do not. The staff were superb! Expecially compared to some other much more expensive hotels...

'Service is friendly and impeccable. The food is superb and much of it is grown on site in the kitchen garden (daily tours available). We had a birthday dinner party for 12 adults in the Garden Room and we were looked after incredibly well. Lovely scenery at no extra charge! Hugely recommended. Best to stay in the main hotel if you can rather than the wagons or sheds. '
