'Wonderful inn, aboout the cleanest i have experienced. Great friendly helpful polite staff.the surrounding is also wonderfully the river runs right in the back ,ducks geese. So peaceful quit atmosphere. You can sit outide and have dinner or drinks,, coffee .or what ever you like .the rooms are very decorated clean and comfortable. 'The Emory House is one of my all-time favorite places that I have ever stayed! I think we would return to the area just so we could stay there again. Not only was it a lovely space but the host was incredibly hospitable and I love learning about the area and the historic elements in the space. I appreciate that they accommodated my gluten intolerance for breakfast and had dinner recommendations. I would highly recommend staying here!'

'It is a very convenient location. Across the street is the Grocery store with gasoline and the pizza/sandwich shop. Later, we did walk 250 yards to the brewery. Small parking area for a large p/u truck. Biggest drawback is that it is only 15 feet from the main road going through Damascus, which tends to be busy and noisy. And no front or back usable porch..'
