'This little cottage was adorable. Very clean. The furniture and decor matching the vibe of historic Hannibal. We will definitely stay again on our next sisters' trip in Hannibal. Gordon was very quick with responses and was very friendly.'

'House was small and not especially clean. Behind curtains and stairs were dirty. I have stayed in old homes before. This one was small and not especially welcoming. The history was interesting though. I like cats and they did not bother us. The cats seemed to be more comfortable than any guest. Our room was surrounded by bathrooms. We did not have to share the Jack and Jill bathroom but the one in the hall was as if it was ours, it was so close. The automatic light in the hall came on...

'A Book lovers dream!! The books alone could keep me entertained for days! It smells like books! Host is extremely considerate! Place is right in the center of downtown things to do. You can walk everywhere! River 2 blocks away. My personal only complaint was the bed. Tons of soft pillows. Bed is not soft. Im very picky about that though. Wonderful place. Sincerely hope to stay again.'

'Stayed here a total of 10 nights (2 reservations) while our daughter was at Hannibal Regional Hospital recovering from complications of a surgery. We rented the upstairs unit first, (Parlor on Paris) also 2 reservations, but switched to Huck's Hideaway when we realized we would be in town several weeks. Since we were taking shifts & staying with her around the clock, it was the perfect place to relax, refuel & rest. Kitchen was very functional with a great gas stove & full size appliances....

'the house was very nicely arranged and everything was great. I usually stay at a motel for the days my daughter and I are on our MOther's day outing but staying in a house was so much more comfortable and private. I was very nervous about the booking, as I have never done this better. It went so smooth that next year I plan on staying Vrbo again for the Mother's day outing.'

'The property was terrific. Close to downtown and points of interest. Kitchen was well appointed with an amazing gas range which made cooking easy. Host was gracious and quick to respond with answers to questions. Beds were so comfortable!!!! Especially the brass bed in the room next door to upstairs restroom. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting a clean and comfortable stay in Hanibal.'
