« Check-in and check-out were easy. It is located just off of the interstate on a road that has very little traffic. It should be noted that there isn't any A/C. The information about the cabin doesn't mention it, so there isn't any false advertising, it just was pretty hot due to the 90 degrees temperatures that occurred when we stayed. So just be aware. Otherwise, it is a nice quiet place to stay. »

« Property is as advertised. If you want peace and quiet, other than the sound of a slow running creek, this is for you. Easy and beautiful drive to the Idaho state line and ski area as well. Many places to drive to and read about the history of the area. Or you could just sit on the porch and watch the deer and the creek pass you by. »

« Delightful little cabin in the woods! This cabin has everything you need-comfy beds, a great well equipped kitchen, cute bath with plenty of extra towels, a large deck with wonderful view, and owls and coyotes to serenade you at night. Hope to return in the future. Highly recommend. »

« We really enjoyed our 3 day stay at the Elkhorn cabin! Everything you need and much more comfortable than tent camping in the pouring rain. The cabin does have an outhouse so if you’re not expecting a flush toilet, may want to look for something a little fancier. We will be back, thanks for your hospitality Mike! »

« Our family had a wonderful getaway at the cabin. The property is beautiful with great views and lots of birds. We especially enjoyed all the hummingbirds. The kids had a blast sleeping in the tipi. Our hosts were kind and generous, and immediately made us feel at home. We are looking forward to a future visit. »

« Our family had a lovely stay at Dorothy’s home located a short drive from public access to Georgetown Lake. The house was immaculate, and Dorothy responded to questions immediately and helpfully. We had plenty of space for our large group. We enjoyed the valley view and the privacy of the property. Thank you! »

« This is a beautiful, peaceful, well kept property. Gorgeous view of the mountains. There is the faint sounds from I93, but mostly you hear the sounds are nature. The house is as pictured with all the amenities you need. Large, well stocked kitchen, big bedrooms with plenty of closet space. Bathrooms have towels, toilet paper, and travel size shampoo, conditioner, lotion, etc. Large washer/dryer, iron, etc. BBQ grill in the back. Great view of sunrise and sunset, lay in the grass at night and...
