'We had a wonderful time. Gary is a great host. He was very welcoming, friendly and warm. His cottage was lovely. Perfect for a quiet retreat. The lake in the early morning and evening is so calm, just sit back and take it all in. In the early morning, you can see the mist lifting off the lake, perfect for that classic cottage picture.If you enjoy bass fishing, this lake is a great choice. 'We had a truly lovely stay at this cozy cottage in Barry's Bay! The views were absolutely beautiful, and the quiet surroundings made for a wonderfully peaceful retreat.Unfortunately, our youngest wasn't feeling well with a bit of sun exhaustion for the first two days, so we spent some quality one-on-one time indoors. Thankfully, the cottage was well-equipped with plenty of puzzles and games, which kept us happily occupied during her recovery while the rest of the family enjoyed the water...

'Talk about setting the bar high! Our three-family, multi-generational group had the most amazing week - highly recommended. All rooms were impeccably clean, spacious, and beautifully detailed with ample space to spread out or congregate at any time of day. 'Beautiful property with lots of trees and fresh air. Beds were comfortable and lots of indoor space to relax. Clean and well kept property. Lots to do and see in the area. Would definitely recommend for an escape from the city.'
