« Great in terms of numbers of rooms and arrangement of beds, great sized kitchen and lounge for a big group, nice outdoor space. Pet friendly and back garden could be secured which was perfect for our dog. Really enjoyed family card games at the giant kitchen table. Perfect location for lots of snowden paths, copper mines, nice little village for amazing ice cream and a decent pizza nearby. Parking on the drive a little steep so anticipate a scrape to front bumpers reversing in. Parking in...

« It's a shame that there are some downsides to the cottage, otherwise it would be the ideal place to stay. It has a reasonable kitchen, a lounge area big enough for two, a nice bathroom and shower, convenient parking right outside for one car and a very effective towel rail, although to make it work, the entire heating system had to be on, and with no thermostat in the bedroom (during my stay), it soon became far too hot. Unfortunately, there are quite a few shortcomings; there was no shaver...

« Lovely hotel well positioned, but unfortunately the food from the menu let it down my husband had the chicken and pasta completely tasteless, wife had the slither of salmon she said it was okay, her sister and husband said the chips where cold sent them back redone and bought back out Breakfast was okay could have been hotter »

« The views are excellent- Staff very welcoming and friendly. Rooms very comfortable but warning of some sloping ceilings! Amenities very good - good value for money. Breakfast very good. Good choice menu in the evening but disappointed that apple and blackberry pie not available for 4 nights of our stay! Dog friendly - which is great for dog owners but personally - I wasnt so happy re a couple with 2 big dogs being allowed into the dining room in the evening. »

« Fantastic stay. Close to the mountain and walkable to the path. »

« A home away from home. Second year we’ve been here and it is perfect! The views are to die for, Carrie and Mike are phenomenal hosts and the rooms are huge, clean and have everything you need. »
