'We are badly conflicted about this hotel. It is truly a 5 star luxury hotel with incredible finishes and service. The restaurant is also terrific as are the staff. So what is our problem? Samuel McClure must be rolling over in his grave at the mis matched furniture and decorations , the multitude of odd garden statues placed aimlessly everywhere , and the requirement that you must go outside and get wet after dinner to get back to your room. Please just reduce and simplify the furnishings in...

'Centrally located to activities, dining and excursions from one end of Vancouver Island (airport/Sidney) to the other (Victoria) and Butchart Gardens "just around the corner"!'

'Great location near the Fishermans Wharf. The property is quite old and so is the bed and furniture. Since it a residential house wurh quire some guests we found it a bit noisy. But the host was wonderfull and at this price it was fine to stay a night. We had to leave early for the airport so we couldn’t enjoy breakfast which is served between 8:30 and 9:30, but the house smelled like fresh baked bread!'
