« We chose this hotel because of the proximity to the Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve, and it looked great from the pictures online. This hotel and spa was interesting. When we arrived, there was a sign at the front desk that said that if there wasn't anyone at the front desk to use the phone outside the office to call for someone. We got a hold of someone who came and helped us. Our rooms were not ready to we went to see the redwoods. (amazing) When we returned, no one again at the front...

« Pool was out of action pool guy was off. Microwave was not working but the worst was the staff going home at night leaving campers without any recourse in an emergency. Our last night there we were the only campers there ( this was end of August) no staff in sight. All gates into the place was left unlocked and some open. Lots of vagrants around. Felt very unsafe, being we were in tents. Will not be visiting again. »
