'The rooms are beautiful and the location next to the slopes is just perfect! Do take into account that Shahdag is not like skiing in the Alps, very few experienced skiers and most people walk on the slopes to take selfies and don’t ski. But overall a pleasant experience!'

'Reception - guest management needs to be improved, only one person at the reception and several people in the line, had to wait almost an hour because of complex requirements (too conservative for 3-star hotel). Miscommunication over the phone on spa access, the reality was different, but quickly solved.'

'Basqal Resort is a great getaway from Baku- just two hours. Excellent service. Aytaj went above and beyond to support us and make any spa reservations. The manager checked in on us as well. Nice breakfast buffet with Mountain views. Enjoyed a nice massage. My daughter enjoyed the pool.'
