'This hotel was in an excellent location, central to the train station as well as all of the Hiroshima sites. We walked everywhere, and it was so lovely. The room was probably the best layout of any hotel room we stayed in Japan with separate rooms for toilet and shower as well as the entire hall/changing area was separate from the sleeping space. This was brilliant and honestly all hotels should be set up this way! The amenities supplied were top notch (including the pajamas!) Highly recommend...

'Perfect location for visiting Hiroshima peace park. Very easy to reach other areas because of the proximity of the street car and bus stations. Three combini stores nearby and easy walk to the Hondori shopping area. The unit was very spacious and family friendly with the most comfortable beds. Highly recommended!'

'The Royal Park Riverside Hiroshima was one of the strictest concerning Covid prevention, which is a good thing of course. This also meant wearing face mask and a plastic glove when taking something from the breakfast buffet. Approx 10 min. on foot from Hiroshima JR station and 10min. from a bus stop and the Hop on-Hop off bus stop. Rooms are a nice size, comfortable and clean, bathroom with all the amenities. Staff very helpful. Recommended and I would stay here again myself. '

'I liked the hospitality of the staff. The front desk sat us down on check in and went over everything and even gave all of us (5) a glass of lemonade. Breakfast was available each morning for a small fee and they have a sake tasting event every night. The one issue we had was addressed right away, so not worth mentioning. Only down side is it's a moderate walk to Hiroshima or the first street car on the other side of the river. There is a bus stop another street over and two blocks down...

'今まで宿泊したホテルと比べて、この安さでのサービス・清潔さは1番でした！不潔なところがほぼなったです。 宿泊者が少なかった日なのもありますが、他の宿泊者の方も静かで快適に眠ることができました。 服のアイロンやコーヒー、お茶のサービスもありました。 何よりオーナーの方がとても親切でした！でも日本語があまり伝わらなくて、英語で話してくれるんですけどそれも分からなくて申し訳なかったです。翻訳機使ってくれます！ シャンプーリンスがあると記載がありますが、ボディソープと兼用のやつなので別で持っていった方がいいと思います。 女性フロアには荷物を置く場所がなく、大きい荷物は男女兼用スペースに置くかロッカーを使用しなければいけません。 気をつけた方がいいだけで、特に嫌なところはなかったです！'

Its location - about 1,5 km from the train station - 1,2 km from Peace Memorial Park and 2,4 km from Hiroshima Castle - made it a logistically ideal hub to visit all our destinations by foot or public transport.
