'Absolutely perfect for the two of us. This getaway is in Tawas City, so located near a beautiful beach that you can walk to. East Tawas, is where the downtown, pier, more beaches are. There is abundant amount of parking. The house had enough dishes and silverware for two. If more are going to be staying, I would get plasticware beforehand. There are 2.5 bathrooms. One has tub/shower, another has a standing shower. Bedrooms have dressers, night tables for storage. Ceiling fans are in every room....

The beach and the lake were amazing, as were the various areas on the property to enjoy. The grassy backyard was great for our 4-year-old grandson to run and play on, and he enjoyed the air hockey table in the garage. 'Very nice house in walking distance of downtown East Tawas. Great fenced-in backyard that our dog loved running around in. Plenty of space and comfort that put it several steps above an up-north "cabin" and made it feel a bit more like home. Host was very responsive and communicated quickly and clearly. '

'My initial impression was not favorable. There was a terrible odor from previous smoking in this property even though it said it was a non-smoking property. The upstairs bathroom was the dirtiest room of the house. The walls were filthy with drips of dirt, coming down the walls. The exhaust fan was full of dirt as well. The shower liner was in need of being replaced as it was also very dirty. There also may be an electrical problem with the outlet in the upstairs bathroom. When I plugged in a...
