Bel hôtel avec superbe vue sur le port vénitien
Hôtel merveilleusement situé sur le port vénitien avec terrasse dominant le phare et la jetée. Bel immeuble ancien. Parking du port à 5 mn à pied. Seul bémol : salle de bain très petite avec douche et wc. Accueil très sympathique. Bon restaurant au niveau du port.

Malgré toute la gentillesse du personnel un night-club au dessous de l'hôtel avec musique jusqu'à 6h00 du matin me fait déconseiller ce choix

L'emplacement de l'hotel etait magnifique, la chamber beaucoup d space avec une decoration typique. Malheureusement je ne recomandererais pas cet hotel et plus particulierement cette chamber qui donne sur le cote du port pour deux raisons. L odeur du restaurant est presente dans la chamber en continu et le bruit de la foule et dela msique jusqu'a tres tard la nuit.

Excellent séjour à Amphora Hotel, idéalement situé sur le port de la Canée et bénéficiant d'une terrasse surplombant le port, parfait pour le petit déjeuner ou le soir à l'apéro. Hotel de charme au personnel très accueillant et toujours prêt à nous aiguiller pour nos excursions et visites. La chambre numéro 20 au dernier étage est la meilleure de l'hôtel, elle est au calme avec un petit balcon privatif avec très belle vue. C'est vraiment la meilleure option pour découvrir La Canée et ses environs! Très bonne expérience, ne pas hésiter à réserver!

Le paradis à Chania !
Situation de rêve sur le vieux port, une vue exceptionnelle mais surtout un accueil et un service des plus chaleureux. Une seule envie, y retourner très vite. Restaurant de l'hôtel, excellent également !

This little hotel is honestly the perfect place. It has such character with its courtyard and winding hallways, the room I had was spacious and clean and the AC was amazing after a hot day out at the beaches! The service from the staff was top notch, they treat you like family not like another hotel guest! Its location is also hard to beat! Right on the water near the old bay, restaurants and shopping everywhere yet the pace at the hotel is still very relaxed! The breakfast was also amazing! I truly enjoyed my stay here and will absolutely be back in the future!

I had a wonderful 2 night stay at the Amphora Hotel. The location was incredible, the view from the balcony couldn't have been better, and the staff were extremely helpful and kind. The only thing that I could say that wasn't glowingly positive was that I could hear people in the neighboring room, but I'm sure that's common in these older hotels. I would absolutely stay again and recommend to others.

What a lovely hotel in the heart of the old Venetian port. Perfect place to stay in walk around. The staff was wonderful and I even snagged the sweetened orange peel recipe from the gentleman from their cafe! He also checked us into the hotel. Lovely person! Can't wait to try his recipe!

We absolutely loved our stay at Amphora! It was a quick walk from where our taxi dropped us off. We stayed in the triple room with a sea view. It was perfect for our family of 4 and the view was incredible. Anita, the receptionist made our stay wonderful. The restaurant was exceptional. Amazing service and they don’t harass you like many of the other restaurants there do. I can not recommend this hotel more! If we are ever back in Chania, we will be staying there again for sure!

Really great place to stay. Right over at a restaurant right on the harbor. Make sure you opt for the breakfast which is probably the best breakfast I’ve ever had. The food in the restaurant downstairs is also out of this world.

Lovely old property right in the heart of the old town. Large roof terrace with wonderful views of the harbour. Our room also had a great harbour view. The staff were really helpful and friendly, both on the front desk and in the breakfast room, and their English is excellent. The restaurant was right on the harbour edge with great food, good non-pushy service. We would definitely stay again.

Chania was a charming surprise in our Greek trip and Amphora Hotel was an even better surprise! Our suite was spacious and the view of the Old Venetian Port from our balcony was unparalleled. We had the chance to try the restaurant as well, which is one of the best meals we had also.

My stay at Amphora Hotel was wonderful. Organised a taxi through the hotel that picked us up and brought us to the hotel where a member of staff was waiting in the old town. They took our bags and wheeled them all the way to the hotel and up the stairs. Reception staff was so helpful providing us with recommendations on where to go and how to get there. The room was so nice and the views of the harbour are amazing. They gave us a free bottle of wine that we could drink on the balcony while enjoying the view. Breakfast is good, large variety of food to choose from. Staff are so nice and friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Only downside was we booked the room with one of the beds on the mezzanine; the air con air flow didn’t reach up there so got a bit hot and stuffy at night but should have realised that was a possibility given it is summer.

Das Hotel hat eine optimale Lage, in der Altstadt direkt am Wasser und trotzdem ruhig. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut, und das Personal außerordentlich freundlich. Es gibt täglich frisch gepressten O-Saft. Einziger Nachteil: Man kommt nicht mit dem Auto an das Hotel.

What a beautiful place to stay in Chania! We had a room overlooking the main walkway and harbor. Gorgeous view from inside the room or sitting on the little balcony. The bed was very comfortable, great linens with an extra blanket and plenty of pillows. Entry is behind the main walkway street up old stone stairs (this is Crete and even near the harbor it’s hilly) then up some easy stairs into the lobby. I have some walking challenges but all doable with my cane. The staff were so lovely. We missed breakfast due to jet lag in day one but the guy who prepares breakfast does an amazing job. Lots of choices for cheeses,yogurt, fruit and eggs. We loved this place!!!!

Wonderful place but bay front rm hampered by noise
We booked the bay front suite for two nights. There is a stunning view from the balcony of the room; however, you need to be aware that there is a late night party atmosphere that starts around 10:30pm on the other side of the bay and goes to about 3:30 am - even on a Tuesday and Wednesday night! Even with ear plugs in, I could still hear the bass and drums of the music across the way. This can be frustrating when you are already trying to adjust to the time change. However, on day three through seven we had booked the other suite and really liked it. It would not be for anyone who has difficulty handling stairs; however, because it has a spiral staircase to the floor below where the bathroom is. I also want to compliment the cleaning lady, she wanted to make sure if I wanted our room cleaned after the first night and I still had our do not disturb sign up around 1 pm. When she realized I couldn’t speak Greek, she went up to the front desk and had someone who could speak English call me. I let her come in while I was finishing getting ready. She was concerned that I didn’t know how to operate the tv because it was on, but on mute, so she called the front desk attendant who came down to check with me. I was using the usb in the tv to charge my phone, as I had forgotten my converter, but wanted the sound off. When I realized that was charging too slowly, they allowed me to borrow a usb charger for the duration of our stay.

For sure the best hotel in Chania!
Location, location! Right on the Venetian Harbour. Our room had wonderful views to the harbour with a lovely balcony, extremely clean, well kept. The building is a beautiful property full of accents and tasteful decor. Good wifi, the restaurant downstairs is amazing, delicious food and they give a discount to the hotel clients! Staff was very polite, helpful. We were there during the earthquake and the door of the bathroom got jammed after the movement, my son got trapped inside, the very dedicated lady in the reception rushed to help, she called another staff and she was very apologetic, we kept reassuring that we were ok and knew was not their fault but she insisted in giving us a bottle of wine. We highly recommend this beautiful place, without a doubt was a very important piece in our lovely time in Crete.
