« We have absolutely NO problem with our Host. Once contacted, he took care of our problem immediately. Our problem? The messaging system for Vrbo was down and we were unable to get the door code. When I called the help line, I get someone who speaks very accented English. He first tells me that we have to wait 2 to 3 hours for a system repair! I told him 2 to 3 hours was not acceptable. « The cabin was wonderful! The property absolutely beautiful as well. Very clean. The bed is very firm, but that is my only complaint. Bring some fishing poles if you enjoy fishing, I wish we had as my son would have loved it. »

« We had stayed here once a couple years ago in this very cabin (serenity). We absolutely loved it then and we definitely loved it now. My fiancé had booked this cabin for us as a birthday gift to me. We enjoyed staying here it’s gorgeous. We stayed up here for my birthday and to look at the chapel we are getting married at in September. You have a gorgeous property. »

« The owners were very responsive. The property was well kept and comfortable. Even with the owners living on site, there was no one bothering us. We didn’t do any outdoor activities on the property with all of the cabins being rather close together with no separation, but it was too hot to be outside anyway. »

There is a grocery store nearby for anything you might need, and it was easy to walk the dogs. « The cabin’s interior was clean and tidy, with eclectic decor and a working pinball machine (so fun!). There is central air that works very well and stands up to that southern Illinois humidity. The shower was perfect for my 6’5 husband and had great water pressure. You’re surrounded by deep woods but only a few minutes outside of Carbondale, a short drive to Giant City, and all of the other great places in the area. « We really liked our small little cabin. Hot tub was a definite bonus. The only thing I didn't love was the crowdedness of the sleeping area. Which I knew it would not be very big because of the small cabin itself, but it just seemed complicated to navigate. Of course we're not very young either. »
