« The community breakfast is in the main home, and while I’m not normally a social person I found this delightful. The food was homemade and the company was friendly. While the cabin was rustic it met our needs and everyone was very friendly and the property was lovely. « It was the perfect place for us to be. The view was excellent at sunrise. A few longhorn cattle visited us late one evening. We had our privacy from other guests, too. The cabin was furnished with everything we needed to be comfortable. Very good use of every space! Would highly recommend a stay, especially if you plan to attend the musical “Texas” which is performed down in Palo Duro Canyon in the summer months. Outstanding performance and extra special as the play is celebrating its 60th year...

« My husband and I took a break from camping and stayed in this adorable cottage while we were on a 1600-mile motorcycle camping trip. The hosts are wonderful and have added a lot of thoughtful touches, such as snacks and extra toiletries in case you forget something. The hot tub is lovely; we really enjoyed a relaxing soak at the end of a long day. If we are ever near Fort MacLeod in the future, we wouldblove to stay at the Prairie Rose Cottage again. »
