'I hosted a wellness retreat here (in June) and it was fantastic!! I will definitely return. Why 5 ? Beautiful views inside and out, it’s quiet, serene, 13 min from town, close to many trails, 7 private rooms - several with private baths, big community space for eating and being together but also plenty of space to be alone. 'We spent 6 days and 5 nights as a group of 40 and had a fantastic time!! The home was outfitted with everything we needed and more for cooking, chatting, and recreating.The living and dining spaces were so big and comfortable for a large group, and we danced and played on the lawn, enjoyed meals on the patio, and spent HOURS of fun in the gameroom! 'Tahoe vacation with extended family. There was 13 adults with 5 kids and there was plenty of space for us all. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our own meals. All the bathrooms had bidets and the heated seats were great on cold days. The views from the room were beautiful and had a clear view of the lake and the mountains. 'We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bar W Lodge. It was very last minute and the host was so prepared to receive us.
