The check-in process was simple, the property was clean, and it had all the amenities we needed. The owner was friendly and helpful with any questions we had. « We went to this property for a few nights to get away and we were absolutely blown away. This property has been beautifully built and fitted to that of luxury hotel standards. « The house has the characteristics of a peaceful era of time gone by! If walls could talk the history of the house would be full of stories! At one time it was probably the queen peering over the bay, anticipating the arrival of fishing boats! The house was clean and accommodating for our stay! « We stayed two nights at the cottage during Christmas. We enjoyed the cottage, nicely decorated and cozy with rustic charm. It was great that it was pet friendly. The owner was very accommodating and quick to respond with all communication. Would be a great spot to return to in the summer. »

« We spent a few days with our dog. The cottage is great and location perfect to visit surrounding. The resort is calm and neirbhours are quiet. Although it is to notice that the houses are very close one to another and they all have their dogs too. I would recommend with no hesitation! »

« The house is very well-appointed with everything you could need. Hummingbirds came to the deck feeders throughout our stay. A bald eagle flew past on each day. The spot offers an amazing view of Blomidon. There are short, local hiking trails, and muddy and rocky, beautiful shoreline to explore. Highly recommend. »

« We enjoyed the spot, and the cottage. We were VERY disappointed that this was advertised as a 2 bathroom cottage. It is 1 bathroom, with an outhouse toilet! We booked specifically due to the fact it was supposed to be 2bath, 2 bedroom. No where in the information did it say that the second bath was only an outside toilet with no sink or shower. Also disappointed with the hosts reply, when I emailed her!! »

« Only stayed 1 of 3 nights. I filter my search with 2 bedroom min. There was only one and a sitting living room with couch conversion. Then there was the ants. Within a few min of placing food on the counter ther was over a dozen ants. We cleaned those up. And called the manager. Kudos on the quick response. But their solution was to spray ant poision on the counter then clean after it. They left us the poision and the cleaning solution fo us to repeat. A few min later ants were on the counter...

La plage devant le chalet n’est pas facilement accessible pour tout le monde…. Pour la baignade c’est préférable d’aller à la plage publique à Kingsport… Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la gentillesse et l’aide de Linda lors de notre arrivée en Nouvelle Ecosse »

« First let me start with Barb is an amazing host. Everything was perfect from the beginning. Barb was easy to communicate with, the house was beautiful and the spot couldn’t be more perfect. « This is my 3rd time staying at Harbour House and it never disappoints! The nautical decor is really beautiful & tastefully done! All the comforts of home & comfy beds.
