'Na 13 jaar weer opnieuw naar dit hotel gegaan. Voor de zekerheid een superior kamer geboekt. Volgens de website van het hotel krijg je dan zicht op de tuin of omliggend bos. Bij onze kamer was dat de parkeerplaats. De kamer was op zicht prachtig, ruim en goed ingericht. Alleen bleken de muren in dit annex-gedeelte van het gebouw wel erg. Van de 4 geboekte nachten er 4 slecht geslapen door allerlei buren geluid. Van een luide televisie van oudere mensen naast ons tot klappende deuren van andere...

'What a great find in Winster. The Brown Horse Pub did not disappoint. We stayed in the external King room ( non pet) and it was lovely, clean and tidy with daily housekeeping. The bed was very comfortable and plenty of tea and coffee supplied with biscuits 😀. The private patio was a bonus with great views. The cooked breakfast was absolutely delicious and cooked fresh, with plenty of choices. Plus you also got continental breakfast additions of fruit, yogurt, cereal selection, juice,...

'2 days well spent at this lovely homely property! Located in a great place with easy parking. Richard is a right bloke, would loved to have stayed up talking to him at the bar but after walking the local fells went to relax in the brilliant room. The hosts put their heart & soul into making everything perfect. We would certainly return. '

'A lovely apartment right in the centre of Bowness-On-Windermere. The accommodation was spotless, cleaning spray, washing up liquid and cloths were provided. The bed was lovely and comfortable. People have mentioned the stairs up to the apartment. They caused us no problem but if people have mobility problems I can understand they might be a problem. If we return to the area we would stay here again. I am glad I didn’t book somewhere in Windermere, this was five minute walk to the lake. '
