CABIN 02- Remodeled Cozy Rustic-Luxury w/ Kitchen

*This is a pet-friendly cabin! The Ponderosa Cabins, est.1939, offer their own kitchenettes, clean and well-appointed cabins for guests to enjoy the best of Glenwood Springs, with downtown being less than a 5-minute drive. Near the Glenwood Adventure Park and Hot Springs, amongst 17 total cabins on a 2-acre property, this location will soon be a destination for Western-style weddings, and large family retreats (coming soon!).

Each cabin has been remodeled and has a fresh twist on an old cabin. The decor will vary slightly, but we call our style `Rustic Luxury`.
Cabin 2 `Hoss` has a Queen bed and all linens, a small living room area next to the bed with 2 chairs, as well as a small kitchen with cooking essentials, a small refrigerator, stovetop and oven, coffee machine and coffee, plates, cups and bowls for TWO, and a small dining area. Each cabin also has Wi-Fi, cable TV, and A/C. All cabins are quaint and cozy!
Guests will have their own entrance and separate living area to themselves. There are communal spaces in the grassy areas around the cabins, and guests may also use the Laundry Cabin, located in the center of the property. *This is NOT a pet-friendly cabin! Please check with us for pet-friendly cabins!

We are available any time need arises- just give us a call! Emergency numbers are posted in the cabins. There is also a full-time on-site manager in Cabin 16 if you need immediate assistance.

The Ponderosa Cabins are spread out over 2 acres, right off of Highway 6 (parallel to I-70) in West Glenwood Springs. Historic and iconic, this property feels like a little oasis in the city- and if you overlook the nearby hotels and roads, you might even feel like you are staying in a remote mountain getaway! Located about 2-3 minutes from the Iron Mountain Hot Springs Pool and Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park, 3-5 minutes to downtown Glenwood Springs and the Glenwood Hot Springs Pool, and the Amtrack train station. A few short minutes away (walking) is the famous, `Vic`s Charcoal Burger`. Don`t miss their delicious burgers, shakes, and fries- served from an iconic 1950`s drive-through!

Private parking for each cabin (labeled) near the Laundry room (center of property). There is a Valley Taxi service, limited Uber/Lyft options, and a local bus that has a stop nearby (called `Ride Glenwood`).

This property is in transition from long-term rentals to its original intent of short-term rentals. There are several cabins that still have long-term tenants, but we are gradually changing those over. Any feedback is appreciated - and we truly hope to make this a great stay for you! *This is NOT a pet-friendly cabin! Please check with us for pet-friendly cabins!
PETS ARE ALLOWED in this cabin ($20 per pet, per night). All towels, bedding, linens are to remain in the apartment at all times - towels are NOT for pool use!! If violated, we will charge $25 per towel (chlorine and minerals from the pool can destroy our towels!). You may rent towels at the Hot Springs directly. ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING ALLOWED INSIDE CABINS ($500 FINE IF VIOLATED)!
Please clean all dishes, pans, pots and stove if used.
PETS. The Host does allow pets in some units, but ONLY the cabins that are clearly marked PET FRIENDLY (Cabins 1, 2, 3, 4, AND 8 are the ONLY Pet Friendly cabins at the Ponderosa Lodge location) : There are NO pets allowed in the other locations. If the Guest is found to have pets in any non-pet-friendly locations, this Agreement and any Security Deposit shall be forfeited, and penalties applied. Additionally,
- Pet must be fully trained and appropriately restrained by guest.
- Pet must comply with local legislation requirements.
- Pet must be kept on a leash when on the Host property unless it is in the guest`s room.
- Pets must not be left unattended unless kenneled.
-Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pet on Host property and in the neighborhood.
-Any disturbances such as barking must be curtailed to ensure other guests and/or neighbors are not inconvenienced.
- Guests are responsible for all property damages and/or personal injuries resulting from their pet.
- Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Host, the Host`s property, its owners and its operators from all liability and damage suffered as a result of the guest`s pet, and the Host reserves the right to charge guest`s account commensurate to the cost of such damages if applicable.
