This home posssessed the type of charm and character that you would most likely only see in a story book. It was pristine, immaculately landscaped with picturesque settings that included rolling hills, creeks, amazing flowers and trees.
Waking up to wild turkeys walking across the property, deer peeking from behind the trees and bluejays flying through the air was quite a treat.
Taking a dip in the pool and leveraging the hot tub after wine tasting was just about the perfect way to wrap up the day. And yes, wine or a nice bourbon by the fire..well, it doesn't get much better than that.
The size of the home is perfect for two couples. This set-up allows for privacy when needed, your own bathroom and multiple sitting/lounging areas. We had a private chef for two nights of our stay and the ambiance was amazing. The kitchen provided enough space for the chef and team to prepare and cook the food in a seamless manner.
Beds were comfortable and the shades completely blocked out the sun allowing for a great night's sleep. The location of the home is withing walking distance of Glen Ellen's charming downtown, which has incredible restaurants, and pastry shops that you will go back to again, and again, and again...
We felt like locals during our stay and we were treated as if we had been coming to Glen Ellen for the last 20 years. Our final comment is--book this place--you won't find anything better for the quailty, location, price and charm that is second to none.
