'I was greeted in a very friendly way and the property was tidy, clean and modern. Just a small let down telling me at check in the room was serviced daily unless I didn't want it to be. I didn't realise at the time "serviced" just meant emptying bins and replacing towels 2 out of 3 nights'

'Alexandra gets very cold in winter, but our unit had a heater to keep us warm and piles of blankets for a cosy sleep for all of us. We were also very lucky to have a unit with a carport so we didn't have to remove frost from the car for our early start next morning. '

'Great place to stay in Otago. I had loads of fun doing day trips across Otago from here. Peter knows so much about the local area and good hiking, biking and touring routes. Nice quiet rural stay with a lovely farmhouse vibe. Will definitely have to stay again when I’m back in the area. '

'We very much enjoyed our stay. Great hosts, lovely food, and the wine was excellent. Our evening meals were especially good with fresh vegetables we helped to select from the garden prepared to perfection. We were lucky enough to eat outdoors overlooking the vines. A fantastic experience. '

'This was our second stay at Little Blacks and it was presented beautifully, as it was last year. Little Blacks is super cozy and well cared for. It is situated in a beautiful location that is quiet, handy to local shops and walking distance to some lovely pub food / drinks. Added bonus of a lovely range of continental breakfast items were also provided. Hopefully we are able to stay again on our next visit too.'

'This was great, one simple email from our hosts and we had directions and contact details if needed. We arrived to find a beautifully clean, tidy, and surprisingly spacious wee cottage that was tastefully decorated, packed (not cluttered) with all the mod cons you miss when not at home. Featuring a full length covered deck looking over a working farm if your looking for a taste of NZ this is it. Happily recomend to all. '
