'The parking can be a little tough but the staff, grounds and room more than make up for it. When you do find parking it is an easy walk to the zoo that is the Del Coronado (a lot of fun and historic but extremely expensive), and to many restaurants. They don’t have a pool but arrangements can be made. They serve a complimentary breakfast with mimosas if you’d like and an afternoon wine and cheese treat. All in all we will be back!'

'We had a nice view of the ocean from our balcony. The staff who cleaned were wonderful most staff were very kind and greeted us in yhe halls. The issue we had was the air-conditioning was not working and nothing was done. The room was so humid I could not get my hair or makeup right for the wedding we were there to attend. A staff at the front desk said to open the sliding glass door to let the night cool breeze in the problem is there is no screens and bugs can get in the room and the balcony...

'Great location! They have a few bicycles to go to the beach. The neighbourhood has some fine restaurants. You can walk to the ferry that brings you into the Gaslamp district. Unfortunately the price for this 3 minute cross-over is priced a 8 US$ single journey. '

'Tens of thousands of gallons of untreated sewage. The beach and all adjacent beaches were too polluted with feces and unsafe to even touch the water. The beach advisories warned to not touch the water due to contamination. The water was brown. This evil hotel did not warn you ahead of time, nor when you check in. I was rejected asking for a cancellation and they did not even refund the resort fee, even though nothing on the beach could safely occur. Hotel and grounds are pretty, but what...

'We feel that Glorietta Bay Hotel main building is beautiful hotel with great people that work there. However we did have an issue with the AC turning on and off during the night which I notified the staff. It was coming on and off every 10 to 15 minutes very loud and not always cooling like it was just the compressor. Also I would like to say that the room is very dated seems that doing an upgrade hasn’t been a priority and that is a shame.'

'Extremely busy corner intersection, rush hour traffic all day long. Bring earplugs or sound machine to sleep. Rooms are not well maintained and the outdoor patio was super dirty, I had to use baby wipes to spot clean cushions and table. This area is vital for the guests who get the rooms that are so small only 2 beds fit, you will not see a picture of this room on the website #110. My brother’s family got that room and we got #111 which was much nicer and had considerably more space even though...

'I guess my only comment was that it is very crowded. It’s been over a decade since I stayed at the hotel Del and I was literally shocked at the expanse and how incredibly crowded it was.'
