Whether you are looking for a peaceful romantic getaway or a quiet family friendly lodge, this cabin is a perfect quiet respite away from stresses of daily life. Nestled on a bench above the Yellowstone River this 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cabin sleeps six comfortably with a sofa sleeper boasting a new memory foam mattress. This modern cabin is equipped with a full kitchen, stocked with all of the needed utensils and spices. The washer and dryer can be handy on those long trips. The front porch offers great views of the mountains, sunsets and visiting wildlife. Enjoy it in the morning with a cup of coffee or in the evening with a refreshing beverage. With the North Entrance to Yellowstone National Park only 5 miles away, there is plenty to see and do. Spend time white water rafting, horseback riding, fly fishing or just traveling through the Park to return to this peaceful area each evening. There is an outdoor grill and campfire ring with all of the necessary charcoal and firewood available for use. For larger family gatherings the option of an RV site hook up or lawn space for a tent set up are available accommodations that can be made at the time of booking.

It’s hard to sum up just how wonderful our stay was. We have already made plans to book again! The hosts are nothing short of fantastic! Friendly, welcoming, absolutely wonderful people! We have never felt more at home! The only problem we faced was having to leave, because we desperately wanted to stay!

Ideal location to visit Yellowstone National Park. Extremely clean and quiet. The house was exactly as described and more. We were delighted to see there was grilling supplies and outdoor balls. The note left by the host was such a welcoming touch. Highly recommend!

RockinY is located in a great hillside position overlooking the valley around 20min from the North Entrance to Yellowstone. The facilities were as described and Tracy welcomed us in person ensuring that we had everything we needed and giving advice on where to buy groceries etc. We enjoyed the tranquillity and were delighted to be greeted some mornings by the local elks!

Tracy was great. Everything we needed was there and then some. We loved watching the elk and listening to them every day. We woke up one day and they were in the yard!!! We spent a hour running between windows watching them!! It was a added bonus!The location to the park and Gardiner was perfect! Sunrises and sunsets were amazing. Quiet mountainside location

This cabin is just as described and a nice quiet location out of Gardiner. It’s a quick drive into town and then right into the park. We loved how peaceful it was to sit out by a fire at night. We had elk up the hill right behind the house one evening! The owners are very nice and helpful with an issues like my child locking us out of a room. They were quick and friendly about resolving it when it was clearly caused by my kid. I recommend this location as an alternative to staying inside of Yellowstone. The north entrance is way easier to enter through than if you stay in West Yellowstone. The amenities here are better a hotel. They even had bug spray and bear spray for us to use while we were there. I was happy not to have to rent or buy bear spray to hike in the park!

This place was perfect! The house had everything you needed and even a few extra bonuses: ice chest to pack lunches while traveling to the park, stream in the front yard, TONS of Elk roaming the property, and a beautiful view. If I ever visit again, I'm definitely staying here.

Cabin in Gardiner

We had a great 4 night stay! A cozy cabin! We cooked out using the charcoal grill twice and it was terrific - eating outside on the picnic table. The porch was great for coffee in the morning and wine in the evening! Location was great with an easy drive into Yellowstone, horseback riding ranch and rafting! We loved our visit! Also a great treat to come home one evening to a herd of elk!

I came across this Lodging by chance and booked for my family and with another family.We were simply flattered by the detail care taken by Tracy to ensure all the necessary accessories were being provided.The location was a laid back,soothing with a small creek running in front of the house. We highly recommend to others this house.Conc: AC could have been provided. A small fence around the house so that we may not encounter any wild animals. House is literally at the base of a small hill.

Relaxing Getaway

The location was perfect for our visit to Yellowstone. As none of us had been there before, we didn't quite know what to expect, but Gardiner had everything we needed- a grocery store, church, restaurants. The location in relation to the park is perfect. We spent three days in the park and it was nice to have a place to come to at the end of the day where we could relax, get some laundry done, and grill up some dinner. Cozy cabin

Our stay was lovely and I would stay here again. It’s about 10-15 minutes from the entrance to Yellowstone and this entrance is easy to get in and out of. It is just outside of town so the stargazing was nice too. We made a fire several evenings and watched the elk and bunnies moving around the property. We went whitewater rafting at Wild West rafting which was also fun.

Another wonderful stay!

We would never stay anywhere else! Tracy and Yoshi consistently provide a clean and cozy home with everything you may need. It feels like coming home when we pull up to the cabin and have an elk reception committee!

What a Gem!

Let me start off by saying, if I could give more than 5 stars in all categories, I would. This sweet cottage was perfect for our getaway and Tracy and Yosi provided everything one needs to enjoy the property as well as the area. The home is so comfortable with hotel-quality towels and bedding, plenty of dishes and cookware, comfortable seating both inside and out and luxury touches throughout. The property is perfectly located, just a few miles from town and the entrance to YNP. The cottage was impressively clean and Tracy was quick to respond to all our questions. I cannot say enough good things about this cabin. It is perfect for a couple or a family. I will be recommending it to all my friends. Do not hesitate to book it for your trip to visit Yellowstone and the surrounding area!

Incredible!!!

This was by far, the best vacation rental we ever stayed at. It truly felt like “home”.The kitchen was VERY well stocked. Beds were very comfortable. Appreciated the motion sensor night lights. Daily visits from the elk herd were nice. One day, they even bedded down in the yard for several hours. We appreciated the yummy huckleberry items that were left for us by the property owners. About 10 min. Drive to downtown Gardiner and the north entrance to YNP where there was a magnificent display of a bull elk in rut trying to impress the lady elks. Staying at the ROCKIN Y allowed us to make so many great memories!!
