Flats in Gansevoort

'I loved it for my 2 nights--it was clean, it had a good bed, hot water, heat, a/c, fridge, WIFI, huge parking lot, all first floor (I didn't have to haul things a long way from my vehicle), and the price was phenomenal. Also there's an excellent diner down the road on the north end of Saratoga Springs--Triangle Diner. For me, on a work trip, this was 5 star. I think most travellers in the US consider "5 star" something different so I gave it 4 stars generally. It's old, nothing fancy, and...

'The house was perfect! Nice set up for us. Beds were comfy and it was just a few minute drive to downtown Saratoga Springs and the tracks. Would definitely stay here again.'

'Lovely hosts, clean rooms albeit somewhat older. Good shower. Okay wifi. Some maintenance issues; for example the wall socket pulled out of the wall by the bed. And one chair in our room was ancient. Otherwise a quite well located, totally fine place to stay. We'd stay again if passing that way without hesitation.'

Wall paper was peeling in bathroom, mildew stains in tub, stains on the box spring covers, outlets that didnt work, they advertised a pool and fitness center online but the pool had been shut down for what looked like years and fitness center didnt exist, breakfast was bagel and fruit bar, wifi was weak and cell service was spotty, 1/10 would not recommend'

'I would describe this as a functional but bare minimum property. There is no elevator. The carpeting in the common areas is very old . Hallway lighting is very dim. There were random noises that tweaked in the room all night (smoke alarms?). The room refrigerator had not been properly cleaned before my stay. The biggest appeal for this place is the price and the location....'
