Tons of fishing, close to the beach, the only thing really was the front door stuck really bad and is very hard to open and close. Other than that, perfect stay!
Great house and location. The downfall of this property is the management company, Vacasa. We rent in Sea Isle several times per year and this is the second time Vacasa has been the management team, and the second time we had a horrible experience. First, you can forget an early check in, regardless of whether a cleaning crew is there that day or not (which they weren't). We were greeted by 4 dead cockroaches in plain sight. Overall pretty clean however. The owners golf cart and a random table next to it under the covered part of the driveway made it difficult to maneuver around. The REAL problem came when we went to bed the first night and realized the inside locking turn knob for the sliding doors (only entrance to house) was completely missing. We had no way to lock the door so I slept on the couch to protect my family if need be. The next morning we contacted Vacasa with the issue and they said they would get the local management team to send out a maintenance person, which they did. Carlos called us and said a locksmith would have to replace the lock and he was going to set that up. We didn't get a response or update after about an hour so we called Vacasa back again. They assured us a local manager would call us back with an update. That never happened. We called every hour until late evening. No calls from a manager and no locksmith. 2 nights on the couch! Horrible experience, all because if the management. Wish we could have contacted the owners, but not allowed!
Everything was great except the downstairs restroom. It smelled of mold and mildew. The downstairs bar was not usable. Several items were stored in that area. It also smelled of mold and mildew.
