    Hervorragend möblierte und ausgestattete Wohnung in idealer Altstadt-Lage
    Die große Wohnung in einer gepflegten Wohnanlage ist mit antiken Möbeln und Sammlungsobjekten geschmackvoll und sehr ansprechend eingerichtet. Der weite Blick aufs Meer und den Hafen stimmten uns auf die von uns sehr geschätzte Lage in der Altstadt von Funchal ein. Der persönliche Empfang durch Herrn Bjelkaroy, der uns nicht nur mit perfekten schriftlichen Unterlagen für unsere Urlaubszeit, sondern sogar mit einer Magnumflasche Wein, Pralinen und Früchten begrüßte, trug zu unserem hervorragenden Eindruck bei. Wir haben auch Delfina kennengelernt, die für Sauberkeit und frische Wäsche sorgt, und haben auch von ihr einen sehr guten Eindruck gewonnen. (Dass die Altstadtlage und die Zeit um den Jahreswechsel auch einen erhöhten Geräuschpegel mitbringen, wussten wir, und aus dem Schornstein des Bäckers qualmte es zu unterschiedlichen Tages- und Nachtzeiten doch ziemlich oft - lieber nicht bei offenem Fenster schlafen.) Wir haben uns in unseren drei Wochen sehr wohlgefühlt und haben uns jeden Abend gefreut, wieder "nach Hause" zu kommen - tatsächlich ein "Home Away".

    Excellent value for money.
    The property was exactly as described and pictured. Communication with Johnny was clear, helpful and very prompt. The property is well located for those who want access to the Old Town part of Funchal, many things very easily walkable (eg, the cable car, restaurants, bakery, food shopping, the Farmers Market, etc).

    Brilliant location
    We really enjoyed our two weeks at 3.6 Bela Santiago. The apartment is well equipped, spacious and comfortable. It is very central with countless restaurant just a few steps away. There is a fantastic view of the sea and the opening of the harbour so there is a lot to look at. We brought with us a small pair of binoculars and this proved to be a good decision. Johnny was there to meet us when we arrived, after having been picked up by Manual at the airport. The pick-up was recommended by Johnny and arranged by him and it worked well. We loved how central the apartment was and the space it offered us. My only suggestion would be to provide a portable fan as some nights were quite warm. We did find the bed quite hard but of course some folks prefer that. When we return to Madeira, we will definitely stay here again.

    Location, location, location
    What a great place. Good beds, lots of light, spacious kitchen. Johnny is so pleasant and helpful and his housekeeper, Carolina, is quite thorough - like maid service in a hotel! It is just as advertised and more. I recommend written instructions for the washer and dryer. Icons are difficult to decipher and I almost melted my down vest!! Also, there were better pillows in the closet but no pillow cases. The ones on the bed are decorative only. Lyn Cardin Andersen April, 2016
