'Possitive: Value for money, good location, quite area, good sea view from our room, staff are very helpfull and kind, free pickup/drop off from/to the ship port, very clean, free usage of sea towels, 24/7 reception,shops near the hotel. Negative: Wifi have very bad signal and is very slow, poor breakfast, mosque is behind the hotel, no elevator in the hotel We had a very good stay in Velana hotel. I suggest the hotel.'

'Wat een verrassing, dit hotel. Kleinschalig, maar brandschone, comfortabele kamers. Ontbijt eenvoudig maar prima en voldoende. Loopafstand naar het strand ongeveer 10 minuten. Snorkelspullen en strandhanddoeken gratis te gebruiken. Medewerkers supervriendelijk en steeds bereid om het de gasten naar de zin te maken. Vooraf via WhatsApp contact gehad en afspraken gemaakt. Snelle reactie. Zelden zo naar mijn zin gehad in een hotel!'

'Prima prijs/kwaliteit naar onze mening. Kamers worden tussentijds niet schoon gemaakt maar was voor ons niet een probleem. Personeel is super gastvriendelijk. Al met al heerlijk gezeten'

' The front desk staff are generally nice and friendly, the room are reasonablely okay condition,only the tour operation department has some issue, their price is the average market price ,but the quality they offer are not good, particularly they finish the whole tour one and half hour earlier than they promised, when you ask why, theu just simply told you that since we have less people today,so we end the tour earlier than usual, and one guy whose name is Rocky,his attitude to the customer are...

'Great staff , they are a sincere bunch of guys , always ready to help out. The property could use a little maintenance however it is kept clean and tidy. A sweet one star and I would recommend this place and would have no problems returning. '

'This is a perfect getaway. The property is as good as a 5*. You won’t miss the facilities, cleanliness and services. The staff is helpful and friendly. The views are spectacular. One thing I’d like to highlight is the quality of food. The chef is so amazing that you’ll not feel it’s less than a 5* meal. Articulate presentation, and every dish was tastier than you could anticipate. '

'The kindness of staff is as unlimited as coffee and tea on the 2nd floor. The guy from reception helped us with luggage on the way to the hotel and also back. They provided snorkel equipment for free. Breakfast is very tasty, espiecialy maledivian one. Room is clean and spacious enough, one disadvantage is that we didn't have window and maybe that's why you can feel excess humidity. '
