YES THERE'S ROACHES!
I know this is a budget hotel & you get what you pay for so even with the roaches, people smoking in front of their room (when this is a "non smoking" facility), the people hanging out drinking & getting high in the parking lot (the back side of the property where unfortunately my room was), and the disgusting mini fridge, stained tub, & dirty carpet... I was going to leave a 3 star review. BUT when I learned the last night I was there that there are ZERO cameras in the whole place just one camera facing the main office.... I was shocked & didn't sleep. I couldn't. It was just me & my 11yr old son for a whole week & every night we felt unsafe going into our room because all these intoxicated people kept staring at us until we went inside our room. Some of these people were not even guests in the hotel! I went 2x to complain about the smoking & the girl in the office (super sweet btw) asked ME to tell my next door neighbor that smoking was not permitted. Um NO im not about to risk my safety THEY should handle their guests & their behavior. The last night I was there I asked for roach traps because it was getting worse & the same sweet girl said she can switch my room. Honestly thank you for the kind gesture but that whole building has roaches! You can spot them in the elevator & hallways. Also, the hotel said our trash will be taken out daily. I was there 6 nights & they only took it out ONCE. I took my own trash out & used my own bags. NO STARS!!
