The first thing you may notice about Main Street Cottage, is its charming period architecture and inviting lush lawn, and its wonderful location. Main Street Cottage is a two bedroom, one bath completely remodeled bungalow offering a large comfortable den with a gas fireplace and large flat-screen television with cable. Guests also enjoy the use of a fully stocked kitchen, perfect for small family getaways. The crowning jewel of the cottage may be its back yard, complete with a gazebo on the deck. Enjoy a day of Main Street shopping, then head back to this comfortable haven for some rest and relaxation!

Limit 2 Pets per Reservation. $45 per pet, per night fee applies.

- Quiet Time is from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am, per City Ordinance
- If we are called due to complaints violating Quiet Time:
1st Offense will result in a $250 fine.
2nd Offense will result in a $500 fine.
If police are called, you are responsible for any fines or fees issued with the citation or warning. If police are called there will be a $500 fine, even if no citation is issued.

This cottage is very cute. The holiday decorations were an added bonus. The only problem is the mattress in room 1 sinks to the middle. The other room needs a step stool to get in bed. I was assured by the owner it was a new mattress. Maybe they should spend a night in this bed. Getting a good night sleep is a big part of ant stay.

The Cottage had everything we needed. It was decorated to make you feel like you were at home (but better) & the fireplace was such a great touch for this time of year. Cleanliness was on point, which is a priority for me. And the sweet treats, coffee & hot chocolate made it feel so welcoming. We had an amazing and relaxing time in the hot tub. This "Absolutely Charming" Cottage was perfect!

The cottage was really cute, and there were thoughtful touches like snack packs with goldfish, granola bars, and fruit snacks and plenty of K cups. Having a fenced in yard was great for the dogs, and we liked relaxing in the hot tub. However, the floor is definitely slanted, and the cottage is in need of a foundation repair. There is no space to unpack or hang clothes. The bureau in the master bedroom was full of linens, with no closet. I found one hanger in the small secondary bedroom. If you want privacy, you won’t get it because the secondary bedroom is off the primary bedroom. The doors to the primary don’t close all the way (hence the need for a foundation repair). So the primary ends up being more of a pass-through. Most importantly, the yard needs a VERY thorough inspection and clean-up. My dog cut his paw pretty badly on something sharp , and while he’s fine, we could not find the culprit.

Lovely Cottage

From reservation thru departure, it was a pleasure to stay at Main Street Cottage. Property was as pictured and details regarding the stay were clear and valid. It will be our future "GoTo" location in Fredericksburg, TX.

Weekend Getaway

This house has ALL the charm, and is absolutely adorable! It was perfect for my husband and I to get away. My only complaint is the middle bedroom needs a new mattress. We didn’t sleep a wink the first night due to that bed caving in the middle. We moved to the other room and slept like babies! We will definitely visit again! The hot tub was a dream during the cool evenings!!

Nice Place!

It was Great, all the rooms were very nice size. The kitchen was well stocked & no problem with the bathroom or anything. At the end of town although walking distance to a lot. We really enjoyed it!

The snacks were very nice. The electrical issues are crazy. Extension cords, a lamp with no outlet, none of the switches were labeled, the bathroom fan doesn’t work. Two bedrooms with two nice dressers, FULL of stuff. I had to clean it out part way to make room for my things. Who needs 5 coffee makers? Every surface was decorated, making those surfaces unusable, especially the bathroom. The first mattress is completely sunk in the middle and the second bed is so high it requires a step stool or gymnastics to get into it. No instructions for the hot tub/outdoor lights. The bathroom needs a redo soon.

Cozy but not perfect

This was a great place for my adult daughter and me to spend a few nights. Very easy access to downtown. The cottage was very cute. The only things I would say could be better is the hot tub (needs to be replaced leaks, etc...) and the bathroom could use an overhaul. Might suggest bringing your own shampoo, soap, etc as well. Movie selection was good. We didn't even try to watch TV, wifi was good. Would not suggest this place for small children or more than one couple that needs privacy.

Deceiving.

No privacy in.the bedrooms as doors did not fit 2”-3” gap. Hot tub was not clean and did not work also had a leak so would not stay full. No dishwasher Cables hanging loosely down the wall from ex cord Dangerous for small children! Cables exposed on floor from open socket again dangerous for small children ! Out side grill was filthy, so could not use Moved furniture to find food particles and Called the owner on some issues priority was getting Hot tub fixed as this was the reason for booking this property. Never was fixed. Only thing fixed was the DVD player so we could watch a movie as there were very little Channels on the TV, although it states Cable TV. peanuts on floor House was lit up so bright at night it was hard to sleep. Plus traffic was very noisy and this also heeded our sleep Vents were filthy No ice maker Tables were not clean outside Now for the good ….. Bedding was clean Plenty of towels Little gift packs for the three of us consisting of tea bags, cookies, oatmeal etc Lots of coffee pods I did take pictures of everything I am a VRBO premier member myself and was shocked at the things I saw. In the pictures on VRBO of this property. The owners have propped some sort of arrangement in front of the hanging cables so one cannot see them

Nice location

The house was nice but a little outdated especially the bathroom and the kitchen did not have all the cooking items we needed ie steak knives. One nice touch was snack bags were left for us. The hot tub has a leak so you have to add water a couple times a day to keep it filled. Also, there are no instructions how to work the tv, cable etc. All and all we enjoyed our stay.

Cute cozy cottage right off main

This is a cute cottage off main that was great for a girls weekend. There are 2 beds as described and fully stocked house. It was great access to shops, food and wineries. If you like walking you can even walk to the shops (about 1-2 miles) The check in process was very easy. What we didn’t know is that the garage is a rental and the yard is shared. It was not a problem for us since we were in town the whole stay but would be good to know for future renters. Overall a very nice and unique place to stay and would recommended for a small group (2-4 people). Thank you for a great girls weekend!

Possible carbon monoxide leak, alarm going off Manager blamed us and very disrespectful. Plugs didn’t work in 1 bedroom, hot tub very old and jets didn’t work. Doors wouldn’t shut for privacy in bedrooms. I have never stayed in a place this bad!!
